Dont' buy food here!!! Horrible Service/Food.
This place has gone wayyyy down hill since last year. And after the flood it was worse. I work in the area and would go grab a burger almost 3 times a week. New management and staff took over and I has not been the same. The burgers and pre-made patties and they only "heat the grill up" once a day to save money on electricity. so they cook all their grilled food in the morning or the day before and keep it warm.
Mainly, writing this because when I called the bartendar who has been there forever must be dating someone there because she is horrible. Her attitude sucks, so does her service. Then the don't serve half the stuff on their old ass online menu. I order "rollie fingers" which is basically just chick fingers...I got a jacked up looking chicken breast with ONE chicken tender, stale cut fries, and a cup of Louisana hot sauce. WTF. All for almost $10. No way. I wouldn't eat this crap if I was drunk off my ass. You'd be better off driving 2 miles up the road for food. No wonder there were only TWO cars in the parking lot. This may be a good place to hang out but HORRIBLE place for food.
Official meeting place for Cleveland Browns Backers in middle TN!. Clean, indoor/outdoor seating for viewing Browns games. Club specials, great food & service! Come and join us for some fun!
They Have the best bike night in Nashville.. They have the best bikenight ever. Last year my dad and I didn't miss it. It only happens once a month. It is on the 2nd Thursdays of the month, they open up the bar to the parking lot so you can drink and chill on your bike and watch all the stuff going on around you. It is by far the best bikenight in Nashville. I ride a Honda CBR and my Dad rides a Harley Ultra and I feel right at home. It isn't like some of the bikenights where you better ride a Harley or they look down on you. The BBQ is good and if you stick around late enough you get to watch the girls have a butt shaking contest. It's awesome!
Some of my best rib dinners were at at the Scoreboard!.
Hey lonjay123... you're not from around heah, are ya? (Seriously, I believe what you experienced was uncharacteristic of the Scoreboard, but you might be happier at a Tony Roma's - ask for the "old combo" with 2 beef ribs.)
The Scoreboard is loud, and usually crowded - don't plan on having a quiet conversation. Game nights are a blast, and while I'm not sure I'd wear "enemy" gear, If I did I wouldn't expect more than friendly ribbing (no pun intended). It is smoky, but the good kind, from the smoker (though they don't complain about cigars). And I had some of the best ribs I've ever had there - they load up the smoker at can't see so the ribs are ready for lunch, but they're at their best by dinner time. I've always found the staff friendly and helpful, if a bit harried at peak times. It's definitely on my list whenever I get to Nashville!
Other great ribs: Kojak's in South Tampa (closed Mondays) and Old South Barbecue, Smyrna, GA.
Avoid at all cost!. Rude service, Very rude "frequent attending" customers, witnessed a male customer being assaulted by another male customer, without anything being done!!!! This should not be happening, and the owner should take care of ALL customers! I will never attend this place again, with fear that I am a minority because I don't attend regularly. I believe that in a situation like this, the owner should have taken care of the assaulted male customer and it didn't look as if he did. Equal service to ALL customers! Avoid this place at all cost!
The best Fried Pickles in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Everything about Scoreboard is great with the exception of the owner Barrett Hobbs. He needs to lighten up in order to keep good servers and repeated customers.
What's the score? Find out here, or shoot pool or the breeze..
In Short
The walls are lined with sports memorabilia and celebrity sports folk like Sandy Alomar and Tommy Lasorda are occasional patrons. Scoreboard's food is better than what you'll find at the average sports bar, with the ribs and barbecued chicken and pork earning the highest marks. With a full bar, roughly 10 kinds of draft beer, and daily drink specials, the locals know about this relaxed clubhouse. The bar's many TVs are set to whatever's playing.
best all around. I miss the Scoreboard. I was an employee of Opryland hotel. I live in Alaska and i miss the good old days of hanging at out Scoreboard after work. I will definitely visit when I get back home.... Hey Drexyl!!!!
Great Place.
I wrote a review about this place quite a while ago complaining about the lack of ventilation. I recently had occasion to go back to this restaurant and found brand new, smoke eliminating, ceiling fans. The difference was remarkable!
Now I can go back to this wonderful neighborhood bar and actually enjoy my dinner.
Worth the drive.... My husband and I have returned to the Scoreboard for the food and drinks since finding it when we met in Nashville in 2003 from an Internet relationship and then returned to marry in 2004. We love the smoked bar-b-que items served in huge portions.... the RIBS.... coldest beer... and the hot wings. Just watch the napalm sauce!!! We have even been known to start out on a causual Saturday drive and after mere 418 miles be at the Scoreboard!!! Always worth the drive...
