This place sucks!!!!.
Upon arriving in the parking lot, a white waitress was hanging outside smoking and talking to two carloads of young black dudes who were playing loud vulgar rap music...NOT a good first impression to my wife! It was straight up ghetto!
Getting back to my order...First of all the waitress who took my to go phone order was hateful as hell...then when I pick my order up some grumpy old woman acted like I was bothering her by me being there to pick up my order. She wouldn't even wait on me and told another woman across the restaurant to do it. After a few seconds of listening to bickering between them, I got my order. To my surprise there was a $3 tip automatically included on my bill. That's BULLSH*T! Not to mention when I got home the sandwich sucks because the bacon was burnt.
one of the better waffle houses. I've been eating at THIS particular waffle house for a while (generally in the morning), and have always been treated nicely, and yes some servers are nicer than others, as anywhere. i am always tight on cash and leave with a small bill, but am treated just as well (i've been to places that ignore you, are not as attentive or nice when you have a small bill). there is always FRESH hot coffee, and they keep my cup full, which is a must for a coffee fanatic like me. the food is standard waffle house food, but i always get it QUICK. i've been to a lot of waffle houses and the one on donelson pike is my personal favorite.
From pecan waffles to legendary hash browns, breakfast fare rules at this homey 24-hour chain restaurant--but don't miss the chili..
In Short
Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.
No desire to eat there anymore. The food was not cooked the way I requested. Not hard, just no onions on the patty melt that I ordered. But when I got it, loaded with onions. Then had to wait another 30 minutes to get it corrected. Then the waitress told me to shut up when I complained. Called the Corp office they could care less. Too many resturants to eat at that will treat you with respect. So will never eat there again.
