The Absolute BEST service I have ever experienced! I wasn't even the buyer. I have been back and forth helping my best friend and her boyfriend with their engagement ring shopping. The moment we stepped into Village Jewelers Joseph Nunley met the bride to be and me with a smile and a calming disposition. He exuded patience, KNOWLEDGE, enthusiasm, kindness and professionalism. When I walked in with the groom, "Joey" was on top of every detail the bride voiced weeks before! Joseph Nunley really went above and beyond in every aspect of the service! I would highly recommend Village Jewelers! And make sure you call to make an appointment with Joseph!

Avoid at ALL COSTS!! Rude, expensive. Not a welcoming business at all. Salesman refered to me as "Kiddo" when I went back to pick up my Mother's Rolex which I was having appraised. I may have considered trading there except for that and the gentleman who took the watch for appraisal having an attitude. I don't dress like I would have an expensive watch for appraisal (or trade in), so guess they thought it was ok to treat with some disrespect.

They lost out on the trade in....Finally went to Nashville Diamond Bankers in Green Hills which made me a fair trade on the Rolex so I could get a Men's watch and keep it in the family. Go to Nashville Diamond Bankers if you want a place that won't look down their noses at you and give you the respect you deserve as a consumer.

Unprofessional; don't get appraisals here. I brought in a couple of pieces for insurance appraisals, and can definitely say that I do NOT RECOMMEND this place for appraisals, due to the following reasons:



1. When I came back to pick up my jewelry with the appraisals the next day - as I was promised I could -, they hadn't done the appraisals yet. Which I consider a sign of lacking professionalism (the appraiser apologized, but honestly: that doesn't help you much if you want your jewelry back, right?).

2. He told me regarding one of my pieces that it might be 22 karat gold, but that they could only test for up to 18 - so he appraised it AS IF IT WAS 18 karat gold, even though he wasn't sure. See 1.: Unprofessional and, as I see it, highly questionable, given their good reputation.

3. I discovered a patch on the abovementioned piece, so it might have been damaged in the process. Not much, and it's not visible when I wear it, and *maybe* (really, I'm not sure) it was there before and I didn't notice it, although I think that's highly unlikely.

4. Last but not least: for a tremendous delay in service, plus an insufficient service ("let's pretend it's 18 karat although we're not sure"-type of approach), plus a possible damaging of my belongings, they charged me as if everything had happened accurately (USD 45 for the first item, 30 for each additional item).

Conclusion: NOT WORTH IT, NEVER AGAIN.

The BEST Jewelry store in Nashville. Mr. Shor and his staff could not be nicer.

My husband and I bought our wedding and engagement rings at Village Jewelers almost 10 years ago. They have held up great.

I recently lost a diamond out of another ring (not from Village) and went there for a repair. The prices were very reasonable which is refreshing in this upscale neighborhood.

I highly recommend Village Jewelers.

KEEP AWAY!. I can honestly say I've never had a more unpleasant experience in any store, let alone a store with such a good reputation. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and simple courtesy at Village Jewelers. The man who helped us was the owner of the store, which would explain the problems that existed there. From the moment we walked in, we were uneasy, and the longer we stayed, the worse it got. We were there to look at engagement rings, which we hoped would be fun and memorable. Well, it was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. The owner was pushy and rude, and never stopped talking! We could barely ask a question, and when we did, he answered us as if he were talking to two children, constantly interrupting and talking down to us. When we heard the prices, we were really shocked. For a store with these kinds of prices, you would think they could provide a better experience. Needless to say, we will not be going back, and we definitely wouldn't advise anyone else to even pay a single visit to Village Jewelers.

Excellent!. Very friendly service, the store offers an amazing quality of products, they are not pushy, very very professional. Prices can be high, but it's great to go and experience what ALL jewelries should be like.

Engagement ring. My fiance and I picked out my engagement ring there. It was made by a private jeweler through there and is absolutely beautiful! My fiance got to hand pick the diamonds that were placed in the ring and the solitare has an identification number in it so if I ever have to have the ring cleaned and suspect my diamond has been replaced, we can check the diamond with my identification number. They were extremely nice and we are buying both our bands there.

The BEst. Village Jewelers is the best! The selection and the quality is excellent. THe staff is helpful and knows me by name! Prices may be higher, but so is the quality! BEst jewelry store in Nashville!
