Best non-chain, non-buffet Chinese in Nashville!. I started eating here about 11 years ago when I lived nearby. I now live about 20 minutes away, and still make the pilgrimage down Nolensville Pike for the best Chinese food in town. I keep trying other places, but I'm always disappointed! The service has always been excellent, and the food is superb. They do not have a buffet (thankfully) so the food is always fresh. They even bring you hot towels after dinner! Great fish tanks, too! Very nice atmosphere.

Awesome! Why don't more people know about this place?. I always get take-out, and I've never had better! Their specialties and main dishes are wonderful, but I could live forever on their shrimp fried rice alone! I ask them to add extra shrimp (small extra price per piece) and "spice it up," and they do. No hassle, no problems; they're super courteous and very nice! And when I get it, it's PERFECT! Such a small price for something I can easily stretch out to last me three or four days! So absolutely no guilt for "eating out!"

Chinese done right. Last night the kids and I went to another unnamed chinese buffet and the whole time we all kept saying, "Man, I wish we were at Tang's instead!" The food here is awesome and authentic. We love the homemade egg rolls that are filled with so many different ingredients, you get a surprise with every bit. The fried dumplings were so packed with filing and sizzling hot; now it will be hard to buy the Costco frozen and think we have a treat. I love Moo Shi pork with the pancakes and plum sauce and their's was so wonderful...and not skimpy on the plum sauce. Probably the thing I love best about Tang's is the takeout. We're from L.A. where they charge you for everything, and I was so surprised when they didn't charge for the rice. Whenever we want chinese now, we won't go anywhere else. Try it, you'll be hooked!

The BEST Chinese food in Nashville. Sechuan 5-O, named after Hawaii 5-O. Chicked, pork, beef, shrimp & scallops. The blending of these flavors with the vegetables and peanuts create as balanced and symetrical a chinese dish as I've ever had. The sauce is fantastic. I'd reccomend the mu shu, the kung pow, the orange chicken, the sweet & sour chicken with pork fried rice is my favorite. The service is exceptional. Lucy is the best!

Awesome everything. A co-worker suggested Tangs- It's the best! And to realize for a year we'd lived so close! We go there about once a month- which is alot since we only go out to eat 2-3 times a month. The food is awesome- sweet-sour chicken and cashew chicken is wonderful. We always order an extra entree so we'll have plenty to eat and lots of leftovers. If they charged twice as much -it would still be easily worth it. We usually go later- it's not crowded and the service is unbelievably fast and attentive. I can't say enough- I want them to be busier, good restaurants like them deserve it! It's the same few people in there everytime- I'd bet they're the owners- I like supporting the 'small guy'- instead of these massive chain restaurants. GO THERE, YOU'LL UNDERSTAND!

Amazing!. Tang's is the greatest! I absolutely LOVE the Hong Kong Duck. From the giant fish tanks to the speedy, friendly, excellent service Tang's gets a big thumbs up from me.

This place is the best!. We've been going to TANG's for over 8 years now. Always good, hot, fresh. Service is attentive. Only place I know that got a 100 on the health rating. We love it!
