Go see Danny Cotten!!! I will not buy another car from anyone other than Danny ever again. Danny was professional, patient, and wanted us to be happy and comfortable with our purchase. We were impressed with their commitment to service after the sale and all around good character. I highly recommend Dixie Motors and you need to see Danny when you go!!!!!
Selection, Quality, Professional, are but a few of my words for Dixie Motors.... We have purchased two automobiles from Will Pace/Dixie Motors and we have been treated with respect and kindness. Will makes sure everything is perfect during the transactions and then follows up with great service.
I do not see us buying a automobile any place but Dixie Motors and Will Pace as our salesperson, ever again.
Ask for Danny!!! – OMG, after dealing with Danny Cotten, I will never buy a car from anyone else. We've been buying from him since he was with Beamon (100 years ago) but he's gotten even more personable and helpful since he's been @ Dixie... My (immediate) family has bought the last 12 cars from Danny and has NEVER been disappointed. The man goes above and beyond and makes the entire car buying process seem easy (and I HATE the usual BS involved in car buying).
I just have 2 thoughts:
1. 5 stars is not enough for the way he treats his customers, and
2. Once he retires, I know I won't buy another car.
Best In Nashville – Since this past August I have had the pleasure of working with Grant at Dixie Motors to purchase not 1, not 2, but 3 different vehicles. I happen to have arrived at a unique situation during these past 6 months in which it was time to replace my aging pickup truck, find a reliable commuter car, and helping my girlfriend find a reliable means of transportation to and from her school and work. The perfect storm you might say.
Fortunately I stumbled upon the guys at Dixie Motors back when I was shopping for a truck last fall. They had a beautiful low mileage Silverado 3500HD LTZ. When I first went to see the truck at Dixie Motors, I arrived shortly after their business hours because like most of us, I work all day. Grant noticed I was looking for someone and was happy to talk with me about the truck even though I'm sure he would rather have headed home for the day. He even took me up to the back lot so we could take a look at the truck. It was immaculately detailed, as are all of the cars I've ever seen there. If any of you are looking for a heavy duty pickup, regardless of brand preference, these guys have some trucks that will quite possibly make you drool. I think they are probably more well known for their high end used cars, but I think they can compete with any other truck dealer in Nashville when it comes to cool trucks and great pricing on them.
After driving the truck for a couple of weeks, two things became clear. First, the truck didn't fit very well in the parking garage at work, and second, I didn't want to put all those miles on it during my 60 mile per day commute. I began shopping for a commuter car. To avoid another car payment, I unfortunately rushed the purchase and found a little beater car for about $5k from another Nashville used car dealer. Needless to say, that was a mistake. The before, during, and after the sale service I received from the other dealership was really lacking. After about 2-3 months I headed back to see Grant about trading that car in on something newer and more reliable. He was more than helpful, understood my situation, and helped me minimize my losses on the trade in by giving me as much money as he could to put toward the new purchase. I walked out that day with a great new-to-me Chevy Malibu with plenty of options. Couldn't be happier with the car.
Just when I thought I'd had enough, my girlfriend's beloved Subaru started showing it's age as it closed in on 200,000 miles. I called up Grant and he invited us out on the weekend to try on all sorts of different cars to see what felt most comfortable to her. I wasn't watching the clock, but I bet he spent a good 2-3 hours with us, even though he knew we would not be buying a car that day. It was a research day, but that is the kind of people they are there. They don't just hustle you for their next dollar, they want to be your friends, and they take the time to understand your needs, find the right car for you that fits your budget, and help you overcome the hurdles associated with financing and acquiring a new vehicle. That night we were looking back over the cars and noticed one we hadn't taken a look at that day. It was a Saturn Aura Sedan, well optioned, and very sharp looking inside and out. Best of all, the price was right. Grant worked with us to get a very reasonable amount for our Subaru trade in. Now the Saturn has a home next to the Silverado and the Malibu, and we are very pleased with all three.
It goes without saying that for my next car purchase, whenever that may be, I'll be heading back to Dixie Motors. With their zero pressure atmosphere, professional and friendly sales staff, they, dare I say, almost make buying a used car fun! They even have a cozy lounge area with leather couches, HD TV and vending machines if you must wait on something. I'd like to say thanks again to Grant and all of the others who worked with us at Dixie Motors. It's been a great experience.
Great business attitude – I recently purchased a one of a kind Volvo S40 from Grant at Dixie Motors. The car was perfect inside and out, except for one issue. For some reason the windshield wipers quit working after just two weeks of purchasing the car. I took it to Volvo and was surprised to find out that it was going to cost a lot of money. I called Grant at Dixie and he told me not to worry, that they are taking care of the repairs. There are not very many car dealers out there that will take that responsiblity. I was very pleased with the customer service. Dixie Motors has won me over as a customer for life. If you in the market for a vehicle, check out Dixie before going anywhere else. Good People, Great Experience – I recently had the pleasure or purchasing a car from Ward Pace at Dixie Motors. I cannot say enough about the friendly and helpful staff. During the process, I felt very relaxed; never pressured. Ward and Ronnie went above and beyond to make my car-buying experience as easy and comfortable as possible. Fantastic experience buying an SUV! – My wife and I always dread buying cars. All of that changed this week. We had the good fortune of purchasing an SUV from Ward Pace who made this a sincerely enjoyable and easy experience. No pressure, friendly, up front, informative, genuine and personal are how we would describe him and his interactions with us. He knew all of the features of the SUV he was selling to us and was very good about answering any questions we had. We got a great deal on the vehicle. Financing was easy and the gentleman in the finance department was fabulous. Would highly recommend Ward and Dixie Motors to anyone! : )
Best car buying experience I've had in a long time – We dealt with Nick at Dixie Motors in Nashville, and I have to say that both he and the dealership were absolutely top notch, professional and easy to do business with.
We paid a very fair price for the car we purchased, and got an excellent trade-in value for our used car.
I would highly recommend Nick and the rest of the staff at Dixie Motors the next time you are looking to buy an automobile. We drove 2 hours to get there, and were glad we did!
Very satisfied – I had been monitoring a few vehicles online for several months, and on Veterans Day we decided to test drive my two favorites. We found them both at Dixie Motors -- and they were the right year and within mileage range.
We had a truly low-key, smooth, service oriented experience from the phone inquiry through purchase. Yes, I bought my car that day from Barry Huber. His knowledge of the vehicles impressed us, the quality of the cars they carried was excellent, service and sales effort was generous -- allowing us a great and thorough test drive.
We went in knowing the market for this vehicle and it was priced well within range, and after we agreed, new tires were added and wipers were changed.
The paperwork process was astonishingly easy and quick, and we enjoyed all the employees we worked with to conclude the sale.
We've been back for a few questions and continue to feel good about the purchase.
Dixie Motors has a reputation for being a decent business, and we'd place our vote with that and would not hesitate to return there for the next car, and to Barry in particular.
Dixie Motors is Great to Work With! – I recently bought a car from Dixie Motors. The salesman I worked with, Greg Stephens was very helpful. He was able to answer all of my questions and was extremely straight forward with me on price and trade in value.
It takes me a little longer to look at cars as I use a manual wheelchair. Aside from taking more time getting in and out of the vehicle, I had to find the right interior layout, and height for me.
Anytime I was on the lot, or in the showroom the entire staff was very nice, and always appeared to be happy I was there.
I would recommend anyone go to Dixie Motors. It has a low key, pressure free atmosphere.
