Wonderful Breakfast can be hard to find. Based on the reviews, this must be a great meat and three, too. In my opinion meat and threes are a dime a dozen in Nashville however breakfast places are a little more rare.

Wendell's had good service and all the breakfast basics at very affordable prices.

In a city where the meat-and-three is king, this spot stands out.. In Short
All entrees are cooked fresh daily, from fried catfish to chicken and dressing. Veggie lovers can choose from Southern standards like turnip greens, corn, broccoli-cheese casserole, white beans, creamed potatoes and mac and cheese. The best bets for dessert are the banana pudding, pecan pie and caramel pie. Wendell's also serves sandwiches, salads and a homestyle Southern breakfast featuring country ham and made-to-order omelets.

wonderful food. this place seems to have been here along time the food is excellent and the staff is friendly. they have a good selection of fresh meats and veggies, with a excellent menu of sanwiches and salads, and i can also get breakfast all day. the homemade desserts are out of this world!

Best of the Best. I have been to many meat and threes and this is by far in the top 5 in tennessee. After 20 years I know exatly how everything is going to taste. Very good home cooking.

YUM........... I have lived in Nashville my whole life and I cannot believe I have never heard of Wendell Smith's. I am a huge fan of the Meat and THree and I think this one is the best by far. My husband and I were blown away by the service, taste and quantity of food. I will have to swith to meat and one in the future. We have found a new favorite place!!
