Best Soul Food in Nashville. This lil box place has some of the best Soul Food I've ever been able to get from a restaurant. The food is seasoned just right. Some of my favorites along w/ other friends of mine are: chittlens, fried & grilled pork chops(to die for), ribs, wonderful meatloaf, fried apples and man the iced tea is surely the best I've ever had. When you see how small it is you may think they are not capable of serving anything worth your money but trust me taste & see for yourself. Parking is a mess sometimes but its worth the hassle. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you the helpings are PLENTY for person.

Gret Value. With the closing of the New Era Resturant, receiving quantity, quality versus the dollars spent had been very dissappointing. To my surprise in visiting Lil Cee's was this fact dismissed. The generous portions of tasteful, flavorful soul food has been kept alive in this "lil gem". the greens were seasons great, the macaroni "very cheesy" and the hot water corn bread "just like momma use to make", and to mention 2 pork chops (my favorite Fare). Be prepared to wait
