Best salsa, chips, and cheese dip on earth!. We drive from Franklin to eat here, it is that good! The light and crispy chips combined with perfectly spiced salsa and cheese dip make for the beginning of an incredible meal. We have been known to buy a pint or two of salsa to take camping, and cheese dip for office parties. For your meal try beef enchiladas and rice, chicken fajitas, chimichangas, or the taco salad. You simply can't go wrong with anything they serve. All Mexican restaurants are not created equally, this one is the best. The staff is friendly, attentive, and will call you by name after a few visits.

Sorry, this place stinks!. I read all of the great reviews on this restaurant, but our experience was much different than they described. There was only one other couple in the entire restaurant yet it still took FOREVER for us to get our overcooked "jerky" steak fajitas! After receiving these, our server disappeared. Not sure if he was taking a long smoke break or just finished his shift and didn't let us know... Eventually a different server brought us refills. The highlight of our trip to El Torero was not finding any hairs in our food.. (that we know of) Don't go here.

Excellent. One of the best small places in Nashville to have a great Mexican lunch or dinner. Service is great. Drinks are good. Salsa is the best. Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. There is a server that may be part owner that is extremely cute...you can spot him because he has great style as well.

lowest prices, highest quality. people of nashville, dont fool yourselves. this is, by far, the best mexican restaurant in the city. its one of those hidden gems, tucked away in a little location. where else are you gonna find 2 big chicken burritos, bursting with flavor, for under $3? the prices here are very very low, but i say thats just another reason for you to order everything you possibly can! fresh salsa, hot and gooey cheese dip, and crisp tortilla chips (not covered in salt like those other restaurants) will start out your meal with a bang! delicious burritos, enchiladas, and tasty rice with fill up your main course. and last, but not least, an ice cold milkshake to top off a wonderful meal. its a great place for business lunches, first dates, and for just meeting friends.

I LOVE EL TORERO!. El Torero is the best mexican restaurant in the world!!!!!!! They have the best chicken enchiladas and they are really creamy and you just mix them with the really creamy rice. And I really love the waiter who is like a mexican George Clooney! I heart him. Ok well I just want to say that you should definitely go here because they just have the greatest food and I just love to douse myself in their cheese dip. Thanks! Bye!

You want good Mexican food? Go here!. El Torero without a doubt has been the best Mexican restaurant in Nashville for the past many years. The service is amazing, the food is to die for, and the prices cannot be beaten. I have never had an average dining experience at El Torero, it's always been superb. El Torero will be one of the few things I miss about Nashville when I move.
