I love the food. The tamales are the best I have had in Nashville. My husband and I or my sister and I go here at least 2x a month

Recycled chips...

I went to lunch there this afternoon. I was waiting on someone to serve me when I witnessed one of the waiters stack three basket of chips from tables that he was bussing and sit them on table in front of bus station. He preceeded to pick a couple of piece of straw paper out the basket and head back inside from the porch. I had hunch where these chips were headed so I followed him in and I was right.... straight to the chip bin in the kitchen. enjoy your (or the previous customers) chips and salsa.
Not going back...
- Pros: tacos carbon
- Cons: I witnessed a waiter recycling the chips

Food OK, service very poor

The food is just OK; they serve the usual fare: burritos, fajitas, enchiladas and such. None of it is very exciting but it is edible. But their servers combine ignorance of English with rude demeanor. Never a "please" or a "thank you" or even a greeting when you sit down. It's service with a SNARL at El Mariachi.
- Pros: Decent traditional Mexican fare
- Cons: Waitresses are the worst in Nashville

Best Patio in Town!

This place is great for happy hour. The patio is large and covered - perfect on a Spring or Fall day. Good chips, salsa & queso. The food is certainly palatable, but it isn't anything to get excited about. It's basically the same menu from most other Mexican places around town. At first I questioned the potency of my margaritas, that is, until I was totally buzzed off of just a couple of small glasses....
- Pros: awesome patio, strong drinks
- Cons: food is average

The staff are not thieves....

I eat at this place all the time and love it because of the staff. They are friendly and quick. I have never had any problem using a credit card for payment at this location, you cant beat their patio in the spring/ early summer. The food is good and it is a fun place to hang out.
