Good music venue a few years ago. Went to a film debut a few years ago and a concert, ok sound and ok layout. I didn't feel akward wearing jeans & a shirt, but the concert was just a rock concert. I think they've even had Christian bands there before. Has anyone been there in the last year?

Avoid everynight. If you are wear any attire other than anytype of tight black article of clothing and neck dog collars then you wil NOT fit in. Don't even attempt to wear khakis or polos because you will feel extremely out of place. The music(well i dont know if i'll call it that -- music is a stretch) is a collective bunch of songs with horrible chords and loud screaming. If you want to waste 5 dollars and 30 seconds of your time, go to rcktwn.

Mammoth rock and hip-hop venue for the underage set. In Short
Founded by Christian music superstar Michael W. Smith, Rcktwn shares a 40,000 square-foot space with a fashion boutique, a recreation center and a café. The music venue, however, is the central attraction, with a capacity of 1,200, sophisticated light and sound production and two tiers of balcony seating. Empty barrels are arranged to make the room more intimate or to create a dance floor. An adjoining area called Level One offers punk and rock shows.

Rocketown, a venue for the younger. Many times I have been here; and I have enjoyed my times. There are three stages with great independent or private bands, though I have witnessed some big-market bands through. So, for rock, metal, and progressive, I recommend this venue to any who enjoy the music and like good coffee.
