One of my favorite Groupon Purchases of all time!. I really needed this day. I moved here from Atlanta about four months ago and decided to purchase this groupon. I was very pleased with all the services here. Jared was the best massage therapist ever!! Also great customer service with Jean and the facial was awesome from Lauren.
Money well spent. We are not new to massage or to Groupon, and I just had to write and say what a wonderful time we had at ADAGIO. The staff was warm and inviting and OMG Donna gave me the most relaxing massage Ive ever had! We plan to revisit even without a groupon. Im not one that writes a review but after out visit I wish I could have bought two groupons.
BUYERS BEWARE!!. Let me start by saying that I have had numerous positive spa experiences with Groupon. Every merchant and Groupon have worked flawlessly together to insure maximum customer satisfactions except ADAGIO MASSAGE CO. Nashville. These people are frauds!! They imposed unusual scheduling procedures (that changed daily) and hidden restrictions on the use of the Groupon they listed. I made repeated attempts to reach them by phone and email. When I finally got a call back, they said that the Groupon could not be scheduled prior to April 18. This was not listed in the publicized pre-conditions of the sale. BUYERS BEWARE!!
I understand how you feel. This has been difficult for us as well. We did not change any rules. The coupon reads "send an email with your name, number and barcode." We try to make contact within 48 hours of receipt. We sold 1141, more than many other spas. With 700 emails the first 2 days, we took one of our associates off her job to schedule Groupons. We have returned each email with a call, and played lots of phone tag. If we could schedule all 1141 couples this month we would. As far as not scheduling before April 18th, I'm afraid you may have misunderstood. When the Groupon came out on 3/10, we were already pretty well booked for couple's massages through April. We've scheduled some Groupons prior to the 18th, but we only have so many rooms. We are small, intimate, and dedicated to fine customer service. Please understand that if we only scheduled Groupons, we'd be out of business in a month. We appreciate your patience and the patience of the 600+ couples we've already scheduled.
WONDERFUL. Adagio's is amazing! Their prices are very competitive and they offer so much more than the traditional massage facility. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating! I will definitely be a repeat customer!!!
Adagio to the rescue!.
My best friend purchased a massage for me for my birthday 6 months ago from Essential Therapy on West End, and I was going to purchase the same massage for her when we both went to the spa together. A week before we wanted the massage, I kept calling the number to Essential Therapy. No one answered and the website was down, so I drove by the location and people were moving things in and out of the building. A woman explained to me that Essential Therapy had gone and they were a new company moving in that was IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH ESSENTIAL THERAPY. I knew that my gift certificate was no good to this new company, but she said, "If you come here and purchase the same massage for your friend, I will grant your gift certificate here too." She took my name and number and put me on the schedule for the date that I wanted. At the time she didn't have any cards or brochures, but PROMISED me that she would call me back in two days to confirm my appointment. SHE NEVER DID. So I drove back by the same office and the building was even more empty than the day I went by and spoke with her! Come to find out, they are affiliated with Essential therapy, it is family of the owner. I said forget it and looked up spas on the internet.
So I called Agagio Spa and they gladly accepted my gift card (which they lost money on) and I paid for my friend's massage. They were excellent! I would recommend them any day and will return if I am in Nashville again!
The Most Amazing Experience. They came to my suite, and done a deep tissue massage. Absolutely friendly workers as well.
Private, relaxing!. I was not really into the whole massage thing being a little reserved, but my daughter finally talked me into it and told me this was the place for me. It was so nice that it was so intimate and private. I was afraid it would be like they have on tv with everyone sitting around naked but for a robe. There is a little ante room and then the actual massage room. They offered me a drink before my massage and a healthy little treat after. I will certainly go again!
Amazing Massage and great customer service.
I had a massage on Saturday, and it was fantastic, and all the extras (champagne, robe, cupcakes) really enhanced the experience. I will be back again most definitely.
P.S. I don't know what the last post was talking about. It is easy to find, the address is right on the buliding.
Almost Perfect. I would love to give this spa five stars BUT it was way too difficult to get into. I was having a massage with two friends scheduled on a saturday. I arrived 25 mins early and about 15-20 mins before my friends. I was unsure that I was in the right location as there is NO SIGN to indicate that there is a spa within the building. Also, the doors to the building were locked. I walked around the creepy parking lot and deserted building (there's a reason the door to the bldg is locked!) for about ten minutes ALONE wondering what the hell was going on. The massage had been booked by my friend as a gift; so, I did not have the # to call the spa. So, after a really nerve-wrecking confusing ordeal, my friend arrived who had booked the appt. and called the spa. A lady came down to let us in the building. After all that, I really needed the massage. So, the massage was wonderful (hot stone) and I thought the refreshments were a lovely touch. I enjoyed my massage so much that I am considering gift certificates as xmas gifts BUT probably not from Adagio as the accessibility is a major problem and a chore to deal with when you're going to a spa specifically to relax. I suggest a new location or at minimum a sign.
Just what the proverbial doctor ordered.
Due to overwhelmingly positive reviews expressed on this website, as well as dissatisfaction with the spa that I had previously frequented, I decided to try Adagio's. I cannot adequately convey just how accurate the consensus is with respect to the quality of services provided at this facility. My massage therapist was Alicia. By her own admission, Alicia's style is not for everybody. If you are looking for a sedate, Swedish massage, you may not consider Alicia's invigorating approach to be your "cup of tea." As a bodybuilder, however, I found her depth and intensity, not to mention her emphasis on sports massage, to be more directly germane to my needs than the skills of any previous therapist. Because of her pace, she also gets more accomplished in less time than any therapist I have worked with. It is, admittedly, a disservice to reduce the benefits of therapeutic massage to dollars and cents, but you simply will never receive a better "return on your investment" than time spent in Alicia's capable hands.
