Pricy, but Angel is Worth Every Penny!. I have been pleased with Salon FX since I first went there in May 2006 due to reviews on CitySearch. I have not utilized the full line of services at Salon FX, but have had great success with Master Designer Angel Brewer. For my first visit, Angel spent a lot of time discussing my lifestyle, my hair and my likes/dislikes in order to create the perfect style for me. He listens well and asks great questions. His patience pays off when he shows you how to maintain the style or to experiment with variations. I had never had a stylist pay so much attention to me... and my consultation was complimentary. I liked Angel immediately and have since seen him for styles as well as partial foil color. Angel also cuts my husband's hair and I have referred friends and family to him. Some have come in from out-of-state to seen Angel since they liked with he did with my husband's and my hair. Angel doesn't pressure you to buy hair products or to do processes/techniques you don't want. He knew I couldn't get into the salon frequently, so all the processes & cuts he has done for me take that into consideration. Although I don't know his education details exactly, I know that he has recently gone to cutting school in NYC, has had advanced color training and is the education coordinator at the salon. All of that translates into a very talented stylish who has kept up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques. I've heard great things about the other stylists and services at Salon FX, but feel only qualified to review Angel. He gets a perfect 10!

Madeline is THE BEST WAXER EVER. I've never had my hair done at Salon FX, but I do go to Madeline to get my brows and other things waxed. She is the best! She doesn't seem as pretentious as some of the rest of the staff...sometimes they try to be SO European, that it comes across as a snotty attitude and to be honest, I've not seen any spectacular hairstyles coming out of there. But if you are looking to get waxed, Madeline is friendly, efficient, and NOT afraid to go there without shame and wax it all! She is affordable as well.

FACIALS!!!!!. Annie gives the best facials ever. She is so educated in the ways of skin and will gladly share it with any one client when asked.

Don't forget to tip because it's worth it.. Ok, I am a liquor drinking, roll your own cigarettes smoking, motorcycle riding, go to the barber kind man. However, I just started working in West End and I needed to find a place to get my hair cut on my lunch hour. My boss suggested SalonFX and I though what the hell I need to get a decent hair cut and I don't know any barbers out here so I'll try it. The cost was $35 which is more than I have ever paid for a hair cut but damn it was worth it. I understand why my girl is always excited about getting her hair cut now. Brooke gave me the works and did a GREAT JOB and was keen to what a working man needs. So there, try SalonFX guys you wont be disappointed.

SHANNON IS FABULOUS!!. I recently moved to Nashville and needed a new hair stylist. Through Citysearch I found Salon FX and was assigned to Shannon as a new client. Much to my delight - I found a fantastic new hair stylist in Nashville. Shannon is wonderful wonderful. She is so meticulous in her work and takes her time with every client to make sure it is to perfection. I never know what I want, but she knows the latest and greatest and creates something new and fabulous every time. She is a gem at Salon FX.

TELA does an AWESOME job as always !!!!!!!!. Tela does an awesome job like always. She is the very best stylist I've ever been to. She gets the hilights and color right every time, not to mention the cut is perfect too. She gets the hilights and color right down to the scalp. No other stylist Ive ever been to has been able to do that and believe me I've searched and searched. Her personality is great and she is always helpful and full of advice and suggestions. She definately caters to her clients, she brings you drinks and magazines. Just everything is absolutely perfect. Also she is fast which I like. Her work is FLAWLESS. I recommend that everyone try Tela. Tela is without a doubt the BEST stylist in the business!!!!

Julie Marler -amazing talent!!!. Recentlly moved from LA and walked into Salon FX to find Julie who just moved from LA

Absolutely the greatest cut and color I have ever received. She consulted first and new exactly what to do with CURLY hair. I have referred all my new friends.

If you are looking for a new stylist, Julie Marler is the one and only !!!!

Laurie is amazing. She asks you what you're thinking of having done and if you ask her, she'll tell you the best style for your face shape and hair color for your skin type. She is fast and does an amazing job. My haircut was only $35 and was better than one I spent over $70 on. She really is amazing.
