Spicy Food, Cool Atmosphere. San Antonio Taco company doesn't offer the finest Tex-Mex cuisine, but it certainly is tasty and not too pricey. SATCO also understands the importance of atmosphere. With funky decor, and a cool oversized deck with heaters in winter and fans in summer, SATCO is always a fun place to go!

I Love This Place!. Really good food prepared quickly and at a nice cheap price. Its cool to hang out on the deck because there are always people there and you can watch people on 21st Ave. The staff is cool and friendly as well.

SATCO YUM. I love satco. Everything about it is just fun. The atmosphere is great and the food is great. I could eat here everyday. I could especially eat the buffalo wings everyday

It's all about the porch. You'll bump into someone you know, you'll get some cheap Mexican, and you can watch the world go by on that great porch. Aim for a seat under the shade tree if you don't mind a little extra scavenging from the ever-present bird horde. Hey, they know a good thing too.

Wasted Youth. Even with the best cheese dip and beer in town SATCO would only be another taco joint if it didn't have that college atmosphere. At SATCO you can drop the twenty years it took to get that tiny cubicle and hour lunch and go back to the days when tonight's date and the end of class were the worries of the day.

Live music Friday and Saturday nights expands its allure from just another place for lunch to a hot spot for the weekend. Fight your way through the crowd to the counter and you can still get great tex-mex cheap.

...back in School.... ...set aside a nice summer night to visit this popular fresh mex restaurant tucked away in the Vanderbilt University neighborhood...

...don't look for an expansive menu but enjoy a tray of fresh tacos, fajitas, and chips con queso with a bucket of Rolling Rock or Corona

Vandy kid fave. Came here constantly during my 4 years at Vanderbilt. I never thought much of the food, but is that really what you go to SATCO for anyway? The patio's great when it's warm out--a bucket of Rolling Rocks makes for a perfect afternoon.
