Great Sylist; Irritating Front Staff. I love Sabrina and have going to her for a few years now. She is very friendly and always gives me a great cut and color. What I don't like about 5th Ave is the older lady at the front that constantly wants me to come to her church. I don't know this lady whatsoever and continually tell her I am not interested. Once more and the store owner gets a call.

good price; unpredictable service. While I had a good experience with my first visit, on my second visit the stylist was extremely overbooked. The haircut was done well but was not what I had wanted (which is partly my fault for not reminding her of what we had talked about the previous time). The same stylist wasn't available to fix it at times I could come in, so I went to another stylist. She gave me a quality cut but said that I would have to wait until it grew out more before I could get it back to the way I wanted it. When I checked out with some haircare products I noticed that I wasn't charged for the cut which I assumed was because I had paid for a cut the week before and had not gotten what I wanted. When I got home the receptionist called to tell me that she forgot to charge me for the cut. I told her that I thought that was because I had just been in and they were trying to fix the cut I was unhappy with. She said she could put the charge on my card with my verbal approval. I stated more directly that I had paid for the cut the week before, didn't get what I wanted, and that I thought I wasn't being charged for this cut. She ignored what I said and again repeated that she could put the charge on my card. I was disappointed because I recently moved to Nashville and thought I had found my new salon. I felt like this situation was not handled well and I will not be going back.

Not Professional!. On my first and only visit to the shop, the owner gave me a cut and highlights. I was a new client and she wasn't familiar with my hair. She was TOO busy and left the color on my hair TWICE as long as she should have and my hair was white instead of blonde. She wasn't the professional I was looking for.

Uptown service, Downtown price!. who'da thunk you could find a great salon north of the cumberland? this salon is the BEST! i have lived for years in NYC and would come home to have my hair cut and colored b/c the price and quality can't be beat!! AND, if you are lucky enough to be able to get an appointment with Terri Leath...kudos to you! she's amazing!
