satisfied consumer – I am pleased with my experience overall at this store. No longer a wait thean the average doctors office. I saw Dr Dar and thought my exam went well. I have had trouble in the past with my bifocals being measured wrong and they are wonderful. The manager actually waited on me. Amanda I think. I got them about 3 hours later, which is better than most places. Not an hour but they also were very busy and the wait seemed worth it. No complaints here. I would definately recommend them. Make an appointment. This is not your average eyeglass place, they have many more customers, so if you are an impatient person you will not like the wait.
Awful service – I think it is good prices but the quality is not even worth there prices there and to get service there you have to be there all day to get any service and then I have to come back a couple of times and then the glasses are wrong. I was there and I talked to a Shawn and a Jaime and they talked to me like I was dirt. Even though I saved alot of money going there its not worth being treated like dirt.
excellent service – I was really surprised that this place was true to the advertising. I could walk out with my prescription that only cost one dollar, no questions asked. The Docter seemed professional, and my exam went well. I was helped pretty quickly, in my opinion, being the building was full of people. (by the way I had no appointment). The people all were nice to me and the girl who helped me pick my glasses was not pushy at all. I am satisfied with the glasses and my service. I would reccommend to all.
one dollar exam – I was in today for the 1 dollar exam. What a deal. The place was really busy, I could not believe all the customers. I waited a while but had no appointment and was let know my wait time when i signed in. I saw a friendly staff, working hard helping customer after customer. Ginger helped me and did a great job with my glasses. The Docter was nice and thorough and I see well with my new prescription. Overall definately woth the extra time for the savings and good service. I will be bringing my family in next week.
wonderful experience – I decided to write this review after my experience in reference to the complaint on the site that I saw before my visit to the store. I let the positive comments outweigh that one and am very glad I did. My feedback is based soley on the fact that someone did the same thing when i was there, and what my opinion of it is. I was helped at what I would call the check in area immediately upon entering, filled out forms, my insurance was checked and I saw the Doctor about 20 minutes later. After the exam the Docter let me know my name would be called to choose glasses. Everyone in the store was with someone and I looked at frames for about 10 minutes, my name was called and that person helped me choose what I wanted and I paid. During that time a woman walked in and wanted help with her questions right that minute!! This is an office, wait in line! The process would be smooth for everyone if there were not so many out there that expect they are always to be the first priority. My wait time was minimal, I had great help and loved my visit. Yes, it was different than last year with Wal-Mart, but they have more customers, so their process reflects that. Last I checked you cannot walk into a physician or dentists office with, just a question, and not need an appointment with a person, so why expect it here. I am very happy with my glasses and the service provided. I will be back!!!!
great price and service – I got an exam and two boxes of contacts for 99 dollars. Then was offered a discount of half off of any frame and lens. All in all was in the store 1 and a half hours for exam, getting my contacts and choosing glasses. came back two hours later for glasses and a nice older man fitted them to me. very good value and very happy with the store. I will return.
Good price, nice people – I was in the store with my 3 kids for glasses before school. Yes, it was extremenly busy, but all staff was working steady the whole time we were in the store. we had no appointment and were welcomed in anyway. Yes, we waited, but that is because of the huge number of other people there also with no appointment. No problems with that place at all as the price is right, the people were friendly and I saw that there were many new faces as well as from what I was told new management, much better service than last year and we will return. Another point, if its so bad why is it so busy and has been open there for years and years????????
Great Quality with Great Staff – I was in Dr's Valu Vision recently and was extremely happy with my purcahse of new glasses and contacts. I saw a wonderful doctor who took time with me. The receptionist was absolutley wonderful. You could tell she truly liked her job. Everyone WAS busy that is true. However, you could never tell by looking at the staff that they were extremely busy and working as hard as they could. The contact lens lady that worked with me was extremely knowledgable and I got my contacts that day!! A year's supply for a huge savings! My glasses were half off because I signed up for the membership. The black gentleman that fitted me with my glasses was always smiling and really friendly. My glasses were ready the same day too! They look wonderful on me and my family thinkks that they look great too. The manager dispensed my glasses to me and took her time to make sure that they fit me and I could see evrything well. It's nice to have a place like this in our community that does a wonderful service. Only the bad people ever post anything and I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that I had a wonderful experience and I am taking my entire family to them from now on. I will HIGHLY recommend them to everyone I know.
Thanks to all the staff.
avoid at all cost – I recently visited this store in rivergate, I didn't need a eye exam went to the counter and felt that I was ignored no body wanted to help me and it was very hectic and disorganize in there. When I was finally spoke to I was given paperwork to feel out, I feel out the paperwork and then was told it would be twenty min. only had a few in front of me instead I ended up waiting two to three hours but then I asked why is it taking so long they said they couldn't find my file. After listening to them for thirty mins trying to find my file. I got aggravated and tired of waiting so Ileft and will not return to that store. This place needs a better system and organizational or they will end up losing alot of paying customers.
EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE – This place needs to be shutdown, they have extremely poor help. They make you wait 2 to 3.5 hr with an appt. They will not assist you if you only want ask a question concerning frames. You have to sign in and wait a min. of 2hrs. even though you're not making a purchase and have your own prescription, just to ask a question. I accidentally left my wallet in there and went back 3 mins. before closing and they refused to open the door, even though customers were still in there. They would not acknowledge me at all. They do not treat customers with respect. I will be making complaints with anyone that will listen and with there HQ. I'm not sure in they have a Mgr. on sight but all the employees need to take classes and get better training at working with customers.
