Awful Food Rude and Mean Service. This used to be a good place to eat but not anymore the service is horrible the staff is very rude and mean they must have changed management the food is no longer any good they allow it to sit under the heat lamps to long the chicken is dried out the soup is awful the sweets are sweetless there were no ice cream cones available and today they rudely stopped me from putting rice in my won ton soup i will never eat here again and have warned everyone i know not to waste there money on this awful nasty food.

China Star Above The Rim!. My family would highly recommend China Star for its authentic taste and looks. The service we receive from the waiters are superb!! The Management is very friendly and always greet you with a smile! The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. My favorite item is the spicy chicken; then, the chicken on a stick. Everything on the buffett is delicious and leave room for the desserts. The sweet tea is too tasteful to boast about, because it's soooo refreshing. If you are in the Madison, TN., area and need to take a break, stop by China Star and have a great experience. My family has eaten there ever since it opened (in which I can't remember the year)---it has been that long and still going on strong.

Best Chinese Food Place EVER!!!!. This place is the best for Chinese Food. Great Mongolian Beef and the Sweet and Sour Chicken is the best. They will keep food coming out for the buffet and keep your drinks a coming. If you want great food that will make you come back for more, then this is the place. Pay the 11.95 plus drink for the dinner buffet and go for the all you can eat!!!! Its amazing try it today.

Simply Delicous. By far the best value Chiense restaurant in the area. A huge variety of food. Almost always fresh and it will have you almost sick you will want to eat so much off of the buffet. If you choose you can have 4 types of chicken on your plate at once as I have been known to do. Also the ice cream is a must and cannot be missed. Add in the warm chinese donuts and you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. The service is great as the employees keep the restaurant clean and always keep your water glass full. The Chicken Wings and Chicken on a stick are scrumptuous. Overall China Star is the best restaurant I've ever eaten at.

This place a waste of your money!. The service is now horrible. I used to come here all the time. There was this lady that works at the cash register taking order, she was the only friendly person that I've ever seen in there for the whole time that I've visited this place. But she didn't work there too long. I guess, I understand why. The people are soooooooo RUDE & MEAN. The food sometimes hot (hot as in it was just freshly cooked) and other times, it tastes like it's been sitting out for a while. So, all in all, I'm not going back there anymore. People are RUDE AND MEAN, food's NOT too good.
