My experience with Cartronics wasn t the best I would give them a 2.5 out of 5 but rounded down... I called in for a simple hard wire for radar detector on our bmw and was told it would cost ~$75, I booked an appointment and was told at that time it would cost ~$100 because I needed a $20 kit that was required for a hard wire. I was OK with this but felt the original price was a little misleading. After I got back they new price was $125 .. they claimed it took longer than they thought it would and charged me extra ( i can t prove or disprove this ). I wasn t thrilled about it, and would recommend that if you get work done by them you get a formal quote in writing prior to any work being done.

I have had two terrible experiences with cartronics. They refused to fix problems I had when they sold and installed a stereo and speakers a couple of years ago and I phoned them yesterday and ask about some connectors and they were very rude to me over the phone. I highly suggest using any other auto electronics store. Their customer service is awful.
