Just moved to town.. I moved to Nashville a little over a month ago. I was needing service on my 2006 Rav4. Asking around, I was given Rivergate's name a couple of times. I am so glad I made an appt with them. From the initial phone call, Tim was very polite and helpful. Once there, he made me feel right at home. He told me that his goal was to make me like Rivergate as much as my dealership in Ohio. He did by far. He personally gave me a tour of the dealership, did only the service I asked and did not try to sell me things I did not want. I was so lucky to have found Rivergate Toyota and Tim. Will ALWAYS go back to Rivergate Toyota for service!!!!! Thanks to Tim and the crew!!!!
Great Service Department!. The service staff is awesome!! I have been downtown and there is no comparison between them and Rivergate. I see the same faces when I go in and they know me by name.Those guys are always willing to go above and beyond. They took me to my work downtown and even picked me up. Great Service! I wont go any where else.
Wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff at Rivergate Toyota are the best. I've bought 2 vehicles from them and its been great. They offered a price match and service is as good as it gets. Since they are Toyota's we have had no problems but oil changes, tires, etc have been flawless. They have earned my business and we will be spending our money there.
Used? TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC!!!.
Like the other reviewer said, if you are looking at a used car, please TAKE IT TO A 3rd PARTY MECHANIC. Never take a salesman's word on the mechanical condition of a car. Not that they always lie, but they just don't know!
I was here looking at a beautiful used car that drove perfect....til my mechanic found 3-4 leaks and other issues totaling over 4,000 dollars worth of work that it needed! You never know! They clean up those cars so nice and tell you it was kept up well ( how do they know). I'm glad I only lost 75 dollars.
Be careful here!. Not sure about their new car sales practices but you should be very careful if you go for a used one here - please heed my advice and pay the minimum charge a reputable shop will usually charge to check the vehicle out for you before you plunk down your hard earned dollars - especially if there is no warranty.
Best Service EVER!!!!. Tim and Kenneth make their Service Department AWESOME!! Came in for a recall and was worried about the safety concerns. Tim explained everything that was going to be done and put me at ease quickly. Tim and Kenneth were talking about the recall and included me in the conversation making me feel real comfortable with the work. I was amazed at the length those 2 went to make me feel safe and secure with my vehicle. Will definitely go back. AWESOME Service guys!!!! Went back again and had to deal with Perry. He sucks. Very rude and would not take no on doing some flush thing. I finally just left!!!!!
The employees at Rivergate Toyota need to get their act together!
Came in with a Sienna that was on a lease and TOLD Rivergate that I still had payments on the lease for the Sienna but I wanted to get into a new Tacoma. Rivergate SUPPOSSEDLY called my finance company that has the lease on the Sienna to get the pay off. Turns out, THEY GOT THE WRONG AMOUNT.
Now they are trying to put it on me, when it's CLEARLY THEIR FAULT!
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Before arriving at Toyota in Rivergate I was told by phone by a sales representative that he would not be able to keep our scheduled meeting because he was going to a Birthday Party. He informed me that another sales representative would be waiting during my appointment time. Once arriving at Toyota in Rivergate I was told by this other individual that he had a scheduled appointment with another customer in approximately 15 minutes. This sales representative also reported that only 2 sales representatives came to work when 5 were suppose to be on the floor. I guess due to the nice weather on this particular day other individuals were preoccupied with other activities. I felt very rushed by the sales representative since I was cutting into time for his regular scheduled appointment since the person I was supposed to meet with was at a Birthday party. Despite the car I was interested in was a little out of my price range I was not even offered to look at others cars. My 30 minute drive to Rivergate Toyota was a waste of time. I would not recommend this specific location.
Best Place to buy without the hassle!!. My experience was execellent, the staff are the friendliest people in town. I was greeted at the door with a bright smile from Chelsea, the receptionist I'm assuming who had great charisma and GORGEOUS HAIR. I was directed to someone with lots of patience and compassion for what exactly I wanted. GREAT PLACE GREAT PEOPLE! LOVE MY CAR!!!
