Tips for Olive Garden

August 15, 2008

Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant.. In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

TALK ABOUT GOOD FOOD. This is the best Itailan food that i have ever had. My family and i come here every 2 weeks, and we have the best time, service, and food. It is very pleasing to have the food that they serve you , because it is very tasty and makes your taste buds tremble.

TOO CORPORATE. IT IS ALL FROZEN, PRE-PACKAGED, AND MICROWAVED DINNERS. EVERYTHING THEY HAVE COMES OUT OF A BOX OR A CAN. SWANSON MAKES THE SAME MEALS AND YOU CAN GET THEM WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND TWENTY DOLLARS PER PERSON. OLIVE GARDEN IS NOWHERE NEAR ONE OF THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN NASHVILLE. IT WOULDNT BE ON MY LIST AT ALL.

Bad Food. All I can say about Olive Garden is yuck. The food was very bad. The last time I was at Olive Garden every bite of my chicken had fat in it.

Mediocrity Reigns. Standard fare for the masses. Bland and that bottomless salad bowl is nothing special. Icch!

To feel Itilian just for an hour. For the best in Italian Cruisine the Olive Garden is the place, there salad makes you want more and the rolls are devine. And there deserts well honey just don't get me started, I'll take one of each.

Spectaculero. Reasonably priced---Good even if all you get is salad and breadsticks---Light, fresh salad all you can eat---Very willing to cater to special orders---personal, well trained waitstaff---Beautifully decorated, yet large
