bad weekend

We will never return to this motel and lodge, the owner was very rude the entire time of our stay. He threatened to "spank" my 6 year old nephew because of dirt on the asphalt. He was in our rooms when we were not preasent and things like medicine came up missing. I do not recommend this place if your looking to have an enjoyable vacation!

The owners were helpful when I asked for attractions for my family of 5. The room was very clean. the view was beautiful. I would sit outside and relax. If I needed anything they would respond asap.I hope to stay there again soon

Lode Stone Cabins and Motel, Hill City, SD

The Lode Stone is the perfect place to stay. It is close to all attractions and yet feels like you are camping. Beautiful setting. The cabins and rooms are fabulous! Clean, up to date and spacious. Tom and Cecilia have continuously made improvements to each unit. We have stayed with them 6 tiimes and each time it feels more like 'home'. You really should give the Lode Stone a call - you'll be very satisfied!
