Does not abide by law. I was at the Coast Guard House tonight and was amazed at how many people were smoking on the deck (less than 50 feet from the doors). There has been a smoking ban in RI since March 2005 but yet Judge Caprio thinks he is above the law. People are not supposed to be smoking on the deck at the coast guard house according the the law. The staff is very misinformed about the law. The food is disgusting!!! especially on the deck. The place is over rated. the only good thing is the view. Judge Caprio (one of the owner's)is so blind to what is going on with the place. Poor Deb Kelso, who is trying to sell her part of the business so she does not have to deal with idiots like caprio and formicola who are driving the place into an early grave.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Restaurant serves fresh seafood including crab bisque, salmon filet, ahi tuna steak and filet mignon offered at reasonable prices.

very romantic. My boyfriendand I went for our 4 year anniversary, and it had a fantastic veiw, it was very romantic and the food was great!

a great choice!. My husband and I went there for brunch in September 2004 and it was the best brunch we've ever had!!!! Every brunch we've been to since, we compare it to he Coast Guard House. The food is just awesome, and while it is a bit on the pricey side, with the food and the view both being so amazing, it's totally worth it!! I highly recommend Coast Guard house for brunch!!

Good for drinks. The service and the food quality leave a lot to be desired. The Coast Guard House's only saving grace is its location because of the beautiful view of Narragansett Bay. Other than having cocktails on the deck at sunset in the summer, this place is not worth it.

J Narcovich. I was in the mood for clamcakes so after we left the beach a friend of mine and I decided to try the Coast Guard house. The service was horrendous and the seafood horrible the waitress would just drop whatever she was serving at the time on our table and practically run away without checking if we were ok.Would not go back and I had heard all this hype about the Coast Guard House.
