Great customer service, very helpful.
I had a great experience a few months ago, having bought my 3rd car from Mair's. The previous two were equally as pleasant. I did note 'GolfOwners' comment before writing this and asked Mair's of the
issue. They noted that he bought the car at a reduced price becuase he wanted to repair most of the work himself or have his 'mechanic' do the repairs and seemingly most of the claims of bad parts were perfectly fine, he's just disgruntled.
I will say that the two mechanics who were there for quite some time were fired and replaced with dealer trained technicians who are far more personable and knowledgeable. Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase and the service I received on my previous cars over the years. Will be returning to Mair's as needed!…

Do not buy a car from Mair's. I just bought a Golf, was promised new tires and full front end/ engine service. When I went to pick up the car, it had not been inspected and they said we would have to
come back to get it. It is a 2 hour drive for us, so we had our car checked out by our mechanic in the meantime. One of our
"new tires" has dry-rot (not to mention that they put THREE different kinds of tires on the car), our serpentine belt is cracked and about to go, our rotors need replacing, we have rust around some of our brakes, our headlights are pointing random directions, and even our tail lights are not correctly ground. Needless to say we were very upset, we set an appointment at mair's to have the car inspected and when we arrived (after speaking with them 5 mins before), there was no one there, we left a message, and received no call back. We will be driving back tomorrow morning and intend on waiting until everything is fixed (we did have a small warranty). OVerall, they promised us quality and we got nothing of the sort, we were swindled.…
