Worst service in town. We really like indian food and this place is convenient to our home. Unfortunately they have the worst service ever. We put our order in and were not served for more than an hour while everyone around us, some who came in after us received their food. They were very rude when questioned about what happened to our order. We would never return. I don't recommend this place at all.

THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS. We made the mistake of coming back to this restaurant after previously having to wait forever for our food. This time, with 8 adults & 4 children, we ordered & waited 40 minutes while we saw 5 tables of people come in, order, eat & leave. Finally, we asked where our food was & the owner shouted at us that we were a big order, some dishes were ready, some weren't, they'd be out when they were ready. Another ten minutes went by - we asked them to just send out the dishes that were ready, our children were starving, & we were actually refused. There were 4 waiters in that tiny awful place & they were actually smiling & laughing at us as they went in & out of the kitchen. After one hour, we finally got up & left - never having been served. The owner actually shouted at us as we left "Good, don't you ever come back here!" No one should ever have to suffer the completely unnecessary rudeness that we had to endure at this place.

WORST STAFF, FOOD, PRICE, and ENVIRONMENT. this is the worst place i have been to in my entire life. they have no sence of customer service what so ever. we hated the environment so we decided to take the food home. worst idea ever... they charged us for the full amount and didnt give the full order. we reached home and found out so we called them... that man on the phone cursed the hell out of us. the exact words were "u mother f**** etcs... i wont give you the order or your money back.. do what is possible.." we decided to lounge a police complain and we did.. be aware and do not visit this place. food quality was the even worse part of the entire evening... unfortunately mine was my first anniversary....

Decent Food but bad Service. Okay, the good thing first. The Lunch buffet here is very good and value for money. You will have a decent experience here as long as you dont have to interact with any of the staff.

Service is not good. I have never been to a worst restaurant like this ever before. Service is too bad. The waiters are impolite. I would NEVER go back there.

Great Hidden Restaurant!. I've been going to this Taste of India for the past six years and have had nothing but decent service and consistently excellent food. I've eaten Indian food all over the US and UK, and have found this tiny hole in the wall to be one of the better places to eat and have had no problem communicating with the staff my wishes.

One thing I would comment on: I've seen a lot of Indian and British folk eating there...jump to your own conclusions from that.

Good for take out. Been going here for take out for years. The shrimp tandori is always good. Just had it this week. Can't say what service is like at the restaurant.

Rude, Rude, Rude. I have been visiting this restuarant for past 1 year and below polite behavior of everyone struck me earlier but food was above avaerage so we continued to visit them because of our love to Indian food. Last time the waiter was extremely rude. When we complained to manager, the response was "we dont want customers like you" !! I guess they are are in totally wrong business. Whatever happened to Customer is right paradigm. I will never go there again and advise people to go there only if they are ready to eat food with gun on their head. There are other options available nearby.

Good food - bad service = no visit again. Food - Good quality food.

Dessert - don't order dessert if you have idea about Indian sweets & you do not want to spoil your mood.

Ambience - below average/ average

Service - pathetic service, people there do not know how to talk to customer. they treats like they are doing favor to the customer.

My last experience, I invited few friends there, and person who was serving us was rude & on three occasions he responds in negative manner.

Today, I was forced to visit that place again, one of my colleague invited all of us, today also we had really bad experience, and face rude attitude from the serving staff, so we opt to walk out and we had lunch at other Indian restaurant.

Few friends were shocked over the incident & 2 mentioned they had experienced similar behavior & they didn't turn out there after that.

Spectacular buffet, excellent value. I've been to this restaurant a number of times for both dinner and lunch. The service has always been fine and the decor typical of most Indian restaurants I have been to, unremarkable but well kept.

The food has been uniformly good, and always very reasonably priced. Their lunch buffet in particular is an excellent value, offering a unusually wide array of dishes, especially for vegetarians. This is the best Indian lunch buffet I have seen, and one of the cheapest.
