Excellent Service. I came into the shop to buy a vacuum. Mine had just taken a dump and we had thrown it out. I was asked my price range, as well as a number of questions regarding what my needs were. I never felt he was trying to sell me more than I needed. In fact, he seemed to take great care in finding a vacuum cleaner to match the needs of my household. And after I made the decision, he spent time to show me how the vacuum works, how to change the belt, how to add attachments, etc, and also allowed me to take it for a test drive in his store. He answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. I never felt rushed or like I was taking up his time. He was eager to assist me in making a purchase that I would be happy with. I left there a happy camper and am enjoying my new vacuum!

Refused Hoover Warranty Work. My first contact with Ray's Vacuum Center was extremely disappointing. This dealer is an authorized Hoover Service Center listed on the corporate website. Unfortunately, they would only accept my request for warranty repair when threatened with a complaint to Hoover. At that point they "informed" me that my upright would be in their shop for "quite awhile" before they would attempt to seek a remedy. They griped about the internal cost to their business for warranty work which the Hoover rep later told me via phone was not accurate. Corporate informed me warranty repairs do not cost the shop a cent. Please get any warranty agreements clearly explained before dealing with this shop.
