One of the North Hills' favorite watering holes..
The Scene
Perrytowne Tavern, located in the first floor of an 18th-century house, feels like an old stagecoach stop--a friendly place where locals meet, long-lost friends catch up on old times and strangers just passing through stop to relax. The combination of wood, low ceilings and exposed brick and stone gives it an organic feel, as if it literally grew out of the old house like a happy fungus.
The Clientele
After ordering a drink and getting comfortable, you become eerily aware that nearly everyone there is either related to one another or knows each other extremely well. This can be somewhat unsettling at first, but the longer you stay, the more welcome you feel. With the wide selection of food and draft beers, it's easy to see why this is one of the North Hills' favorite watering holes.
