Good food, fair ambience – I really like their pulled pork, and the sides are simple, but excellent. On the downside, food is sometimes not quite hot enough, and the restaurant is pretty stark.
I'm Drooling Now... – This was recommended by a local bartender and she was right! Super BBQ! I get the 2 meat combo with just brisket. Their spicy BBQ sauce really is spicy! Cut it with a little Honey Bourbon Sauce and it's perfect! My boyfriend (who can seriously put it back) gets the 4 meat combo with turkey brisket ribs and chicken. Friggin awesome. Texas potatoes kind of sucked, like frozen hash browns with cheese sauce, but I can't have BBQ without cole slaw and baked beans anyway, and they are awesome! We went back 2 nights after the first visit 'cause we couldn't stop thinking about it!
Not A Hole Anymore – Whoever says this is a hole in the wall must be seeing things because its clearly not the case. The place is swarming with people during all of my visits there. I love the food though, mighty tasty and can be incredibly spicy.
What's all the hype about? – A coworker raves about this place. He's says it's great and loves its originality. I've been there twice on his recommendation and have been slightly disappointed each time. BBQ sauce is good. Service is really friendly. Food is pleasant, but overpriced. I think the food is decent, but for the amount and quality you are getting, it is a bit overpriced. Lunchtime is always very crowded with very very limited parking. It is a tough to park if you don't find a spot in their lot of 7 spaces.
Great Food, but the brisket... – The restaurant was delicious. Turned out to be an accidental find. The only problem with my meal was the brisket - it was too dry. However, the pulled pork was excellent. The fries were great, as well as the BBQ beans. The Texas Cheesy Potatoes were glorious.
I liked their fry sauce - a combination of ketsup, mayonaise, and horseraddish. And their BBQ sauce was really good, too.
