Management Clueless - Some Food Great, some bad – I have seen some really great service at Red Lobster and some of the worst. The problem seems to be that the management does not recognize and reward good service, nor do they discipline or re-train those who provide bad service. Some of the food is phenominal, such as the cheese biscuits, but some is so overcooked and mushy that it reminds one of a Senior Citizens home. The Alfredo sauce is to die for. I wish they would bottle it for sale.
Casual crustacean-inspired chain serves up diet-defying seafood dishes in a family-friendly environment. – In Short
Live lobsters wriggle in a tank inside this seafood emporium, where nautical-patterned booths and colorful, fish-shaped tables in the bar area add subdued touches of whimsy to the room's classy dark wood accents. The menu can be downright decadent, with starters of artichoke lobster dip, seafood fondue, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Entrees feature lighter, grilled fare like mahi-mahi and North Atlantic sea scallops, along with signature lobster dishes, snow crab legs, and jumbo fried shrimp platters.
it's all about the biscuits! – Although we haven't exactly had the best service here ever, the food is still great. The biscuits are amazing and I try to make them at home but they are never quite as good. Salmon in a bag is great, as is the shrimp. Mostly though, it is the bread that keeps us coming back!
