Great Service, Beautiful Rooms

They have 4 different hotels we stayed at the McBee Cottages but also viewed a couple rooms at the Cannon Beach Hotel.
Our room at the McBee Cottages must have been just re-modeled or something because it was spotless and very tastefully done. The room had a gas fireplace and comfortable chairs as well as a queen bed. Our dogs loved it too as we were only a short block to the beach.
We also toured the Cannon Beach Hotel and were impressed. The room we looked at had a large claw foot soaking tub, gas fireplace, and a large seating area with soft chairs. The lobby of the hotel has a nice fireplace going and our dinner in the restaurant was great.
Even with the beautiful rooms I think the best part of it was the service. We asked where we could rent a DVD movie and the clerk gave us a pass for a free movie. He showed all the nice state parks to visit and was full of information about the area. It seemed like he really wanted us to enjoy ourselves and was not just some act.
We did not visit there other two properties but next time for a change we might stay at the Courtyard or Hearthstone.
All in all a great time was had and we will be back every chance we get.

When to Go:
Midweek is the best time to stay; not only do you miss the crowds, but the rates are dramatically lower for posh diggs.
