We have no complaints. The food is fantastic! The waitresses are friendly, and good at their job. Angie is friendly also. Like I said "no compaints"
They were very friendly and understanding about my service dog; and the food was good too.
We are from Texas just stopping by. Surprisingly good food, catfish tasted fresh, they have a salad bar and very friendly service.
I work in Houston, TX as a food critic for a local newspaper. I had the "pleasure" of staying in Hugo with my family for a week this summer. I have to say that this restaurant was the highlight of my stay. It is filled with authentic circus memorabilia and the food was absolutely amazing. Upon asking what I should eat the owner's son boasted that the chicken fried steaks were "the best in Oklahoma." I have to say I scoffed at first, but the kid might have been right. The chicken fried steak was absolutely amazing. When I found out they were open for breakfast at 6:30 I decided that I would return. I decided since it worked the first time that I would again ask what I should try. This time the kid recommended the western omlette, and again it couldn't have been better. The cap of my week however, was Friday night. This time I walked in to discover that the same kid was cooking All you can eat seafood. (Which was priced at $13.99 for two choices) I had the catfish & fantail shrimp with french fries, hushpuppies, and pinto beans. (Someone told me that the coleslaw was really good, but I just don't do cabbage.) I ended up eating 6 pieces of catfish and 8 pieces of fantail shrimp. The food was absolutely amazing. Oh and to top it off I had a slice of the homemade coconut cream pie, which was also wonderful. I was absolutely impressed. If you happen to be in Hugo, OK you should definitely check this place out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. (or all three) If you have any questions about the circus stuff you should ask one of the owners or their son, they are amazingly informative. Wonderful all the way around.
