Yields confident dancers with excellent technique

I have been dancing at this studio since I was only four years old, and now I'm 17! Art of Motion has truly helped me mature into a confident person and they have taught me grace and poise. Shelly Beech in such a fun instructor, with none of the pretention or severity of other studios. She trains her girls in ballet, tap, and jazz, and has had her dancers recognized by countless conventions and featured in numerous productions outside of the biannual recitals. The most recent was The David Taylor Dance Company's production of "The Rainforest Ballet." Three of her advanced students were featured as birds, and many more were cast as various insects and wildlife. I was lucky enough to be one of the three dancers, and I have gained so much from that experience, and I know that without my extensive training, I would not have gotten the role.

Art of Motion instructs young ladies and young men ages 3 1/2 to advanced four days per week. If you are looking for a great all-around studio to not only foster a love of dance in your child, but to also teach valuable life skills, Art of Motion is definately the place for you!

We Love Shelly Beech!

Bartlesville is so lucky to have dance educator as accomplished and professional as Shelly Beech at Art of Motion. By teaching strong fundamentals, technique and terminology, her students have been able to pursue professional teaching and performing careers. My daughter has attend numerous dance conventions and auditions. She has always understood what choreographers have thrown at her. Shelly not only prepares her students for their dance life, but life in general. My daughter carries herself with confidence. The everyday messages from dance class: don't give up, arrive on time, commitment to a group, are the life lessons that have helped my daughter be successful. I highly recommend Art of Motion Dance Studio. Shelly Beech has been an invaluable influence in my daughters life.

Students perform twice a year at the Bartlesville Community Center. " Bartlesville's Christmas Spectacular" kicks of the Holiday Season in December, the annual spring performance is in May. High energy and entertaining for the entire family. Shelly Beech is the spirit and energy that makes this studio a success! Her attention to detail and technique allows her dancers to succeed far past the confines of her studio walls. I recommend Art of Motion for families that want a well structured and organized dance experience. The studio offers Princess and Little Miss Montana Camps in the Summer. Consider trying one of the week long summers sessions to try dance class.
