What People Are Saying About Court Street Diner

One of the greatest attributes of the Court Street Diner is its atmosphere. The aesthetic of an 1950s diner has been preserved authentically. Although it's flashy, and the walls are covered with 50s albums, it doesn't feel gimmicky or over-produced, which is what one gets from a Johny Rocket's or a Steak and Shake. As for the food, I can speak for the breakfast--which is great. I ordered a veggie-lover's omelet, but the omelet I was served had ham cubes in it (though it contained plenty of vegeatables as well). Aside from the fact that they mixed up my order, it was a happy mistake. I'm not a vegetarian, and the meal they served me was delcious, and so this was barely a problem. Their hash browns were the best part of the breakfast. They used a lot of oil, and crisped and browned them well, which is my personal preference. I don't like undercooked and flaccid hash browns. She did quite well, considering. She was pleasant, but stoic, and I can't blame her. I would be too if thirty impatient people were mean-mugging me. Because of how much she had to do my coffee didn't get filled up all that much, which is a cardinal sin for me when one goes into a diner in the morning for breakfast. One should have a piping hot cup of bitter brew filled to the brim of a good mug, and per

How often do you see a real diner these days? This is the cutest restaurant. It looks like a 50s diner - shiney silver on the outside and everything. All-American food.

Great for family dinning. Great burgers and shakes. Other menu items are good but diners are known for burgers and shakes.
