Opposite end of the Spectrum. The two above reviews sound like disgruntled individuals or "Sour Grapes". I have known the Tolkans for years. Their knowledge, professionalism and sound advice are second to none. As I stated earlier, they run a fast paced, busy office. As a client you can help them by planning ahead, allowing enough time and having all necessary paperwork prepared and ready. The only rerason they didn't get 5 stars, is that there is always room for improvement... Yet they come very close to perfection. Overall a very positive experience!…
be careful. there is nothing unique about david tolkan cpa.. interview many others to make a choice.. he is slow .an ego oriented person and his wife is the same.. not a good experience for us... shop around the person that wrote the great review is a plant and tolkan is everything and more that I wrote about,,, shop around…
Terrible Service!. The worst tax filing experience of my life. I had used H&R Block or my local CPA for years, then decided to try Tolkan at the advise of a friend. Some friend. It took them 4 weeks to file my return, which they said was basic and should be done quickly. No chance. After submitting all my info, several weeks went by and I didnt hear from them. I contacted them and was only able to speak with Jennifer, the office assistant. She never had answers and basically treated me as though I had no business calling about the status of my return. The CPA, Nancy, ignored my phone calls and emails for weeks. Finally they called me and told me my return was done and charged me twice as much as any CPA I had used in the past. If you want your tax return done in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable cost, this is the last place you should take your business; a mistake I won't make twice.…
