It's a racket!. Dr. Marcus in my opinion is incompetent. She has seen two of my cats. Both times she was unsure of what was ailing my cats, yet prescribed costly treatments. She also can't seem to tell the difference between respiratory problems and a VERY hot exam room. Twice she was worried about my cats labored breathing and wanted to treat despite the fact it was obvious they were panting due to the excessive heat.…

The doctor was supposed to call me prior to doing any procedures on my cat. Apparently, she couldn't be bothered. I didn't find out until I picked my cat up that the doctor had performed not one,
but two tooth extractions.
To make matters worse, the receptionist was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I was never advised that in order to avoid additional charges, my cat needed to be picked up prior to 9:30 a.m. When I picked up my cat a little before 11 a.m. a week later, she tried to charge me for a half day.
Then when I stated that I was having trouble hearing her because of some children screaming in the background, she proceeded to yell at me as if I were deaf. Her condescending attitude and complete lack of front desk diplomacy was shocking.
I will be looking for a new vet and place to board my cat. I suggest others to do the same.…
