In Short
Louis Bromfield, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and dedicated conservationist, created Malabar Farm. Inspired by his love of the land, Bromfield restored the farmlands and preserved the beauty of the woodlands. There are no accommodations on the property, though you can tour the Big House where Bogie and Bacall spent their honeymoon and rent Pugh Cabin for meetings and such. The farm, the trail and the big old house all make for pleasant viewing.
