bad subs. This place has the word customer service i've ever experienced. The owner is beyond rude. The subs were bland and the fries were soggy. It took three trips to the hero house to get our take out order right. I could overlook the mistakes because everyone makes them at least once in awhile, but I refuse to ignore the maltreatment of the owner of this place toward my family. We will never eat at the hero house again. We urge others to avoid this establishment. Spend your money were the food is good and your patronage is valued.

I had to make mulltiple trips to this establshment to get my order correct.
My order was simple..Nothing special. I wanted a cheesesteak sub...not the cheesesteak deluxe.
The difference is the deluxe has mushrooms....I can't eat those.
She was rude, pushy and apparantly can read minds since she likes to talk over people. She hung up on my neice. Second time she hung up on me after tellling me to never come back since I was so hard to please.
If she took the time to listen and not assume things this would have never happened.
Maybe they should remove the cheeseteak item from their menu if they just assume everyone wants the deluxe.
Great sandiwches and service. Hero house serves up hot and cold subs, great fries and other staples. But they're Philly Cheese steak (minus the lettuce, of course) is to die for. Absolutely fantastic. Their fresh fries are also really good. This is an awesome sandwich shop when your hungry or got the munchies. Not the friendliest people ever, but certainly not the worst. Will go back time and time again.

I'll admit that the food at Hero House is Awesome but after the customer service I received tonight I'll never be back.
I pulled up to the drive up window told, them my name, was given a total so I handed the woman my debit card, not aware that the card had been turned off. The woman came back and told me it was declined, I replied with I'll call back in 5 min. if I can't pay for it and drove off. I came back in less than 3 min after making a phone call and verifying that my other checking account had the money I needed. I was informed that the food had been handed out.
I called back to complain and the "manager" in short told me to piss off and hung up on me. However to be fair she did mutter the word sorry before she hung up on me. No real apology; no "I'm sorry about the mix up".
I worked customer service for several years and I would never have been so rude to a customer. I realize that what I did was a mild in-convenience but to just hang up on me without hearing me out is un-excusable.
