Not the greatest. Zak's has been in business for years, but it is not the place it used to be. On weekends, a few leftover Zanesvillian Sex and the City wannabes try to hang at the bar which is as big as a postage stamp, and the restaurant used to be the place to be, but not anymore. Management changes have caused service and ambiance to suffer. Needs a total makeover to get it out of it's slump.

The Ohio Magazine Lies. The Ohio Magazine always gives this place high marks, so I decided to try it while passing through Zanesville. They claimed to not have any queso for the nachos (which were tostitos or something), but managed to put it on the main dishes, they charged 1.50 for the nachos, their "famous" salsa tasted like taco sauce. Not very impressive and never going back again. Out server could never be found. The restaurant had a weird art deco theme. We were seated directly across from the kitchen and still had slow service.
