Madera Wal-Mart Sucks. I hate the Wal-Mart in Madera, it has to be one of the worse in the country. They are slow .unfriendly under stocked. dirty trashy and down right ghetto I have never been in that store and had a positive shopping experience. It is like they don't care. they think they have no competition no other store that us Maderans can without having to go to Fresno, i can not waait until either Targe tor K-Mart come to town cause this will be one gal that would never step foot into that store again I would avoid it like the plague

The capitol of crap. Well service sucks because: slow as hell, the workers give you attitude, they look depressed as hell, they don't acknowledge that your there meaning no eye contact or saying hi, not enough cashiers, and again... super slow!!

The adults that work there are great, it's the younger folk that SUCK. A lot of employees have little to no knowlege about the products.

The store is always filthy!! Don't even ask about the restrooms.

As for the people who shop there... holly crap rude as heck!! they let their chicldren run around everywhere buming into people, stop in the middle of an isle, and leave there carts in everyone's way.

Then when i need something or am looking for something they are always out of stock and it takes about a month or 2 to get it in.

I agree with Bendigo.... It is the only "everything you need" store we have in town. No choice, that's it! If we had a choice, there would be no stopping at WalMart. Customer service is the worst I've seen in the valley. Nobody knows the answer to anything, nobody knows where things are located in the store, and on top of it, they don't give a hoot whether you find what you are looking for or not. They are rude; from the cashiers to the floor employees, to the manager on duty. In 8 years I have lived in Madera and shopped at WalMart (no choice) I have not found a nice customer service oriented employee. I MISS MERVYN'S store; WalMarts competition here in Madera. What's worng???!@!!!! Corporate office, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS!!

The familiar smiley face representing the world's largest retailer stands for dependably low prices and customer service.. In Short
What started as Sam Walton's vision in 1962 now accounts for more than $200 billion in annual sales. The well-respected discount store emphasizes value, customer care and variety. Thirty-six departments offer everything from shoes to DVD players, including apparel, health and beauty products, electronics, toys, fabrics, craft supplies, jewelry and outdoor equipment. Popular clothing lines include Levi Strauss, Wrangler and No Boundaries. In addition to a wide range of computer equipment, Wal-Mart Connect Internet service is also available.
