Best Chair Caning Anywhere!. Jean Nowack is a national treasure - no else does this kind of fantastic, quality workmanship anymore! She is a true artist. Jean does regular caning, fancy patterns in caning, press-in cane (pre-made) - for Marcel Breuer type chairs, rush seats, faux rush twisted paper (?) seats, shaker tape seats, and she can repair wicker furniture. She also does adirondack canoe seats! She probably does more, too, since she is such a talented person. Her work lasts fabulously, as well. I have chairs she caned for me over twenty years ago that are still perfect! Jean's prices are incredibly reasonable and she picks up and delivers! If you get something repaired by this wonderful woman - give her a tip! (She works very hard for too little - in my opinion) : )
