Best place to eat.
I grew up in Buffalo and moved to Ohio 30 years ago, I frequent the greater Buffalo area, every chance I get I stop at your resteraunt. The staff is excellent, the food is excellent, the portions are huge, the desserts are out of this world. I just wanted to take the time to let you know that my experiences their is more than I can ever say.Thank you.
Good overall, one glitch.. I have had mostly pleasant experiences at this restaurant. Prices reasonable, portions & desserts are great! ONE THING they have to work on is the GARLIC BREAD!
great food. We stop at Aunt Mille's every time we head north to go fishing.The food has always be great ,it has always been clean and the staff friendly. Try the oink- oink omelet for breakfast. Highly recommend this place!
My family and I have been going to Aunt Millie's for years... it started out as Aunt Millie's kitchen but now if your driving down the road you'll see the sign that says Aunt Millie's Family Restaurant & Bakery. And the name holds true, it is a great family restaurant and better yet the bakery!!!

Best Spaghetti Sauce Ever!!. Aunt Millie's is a great family restaurant!!! My family loves the spaghetti sauce. Which is homemade, but what isn't at Aunt Millie's. I won't eat sauce at any restaurant but Aunt Millie's, they should sell that stuff buy the jar. Its better than my wife's hands down but dont tell her that! The service is good and the people are friendly. The bakery will absolutely take your breath away, and your waist line but it soo worth it!
Best Breakfast and Bakery in Western NY!!.
My family and I love Aunt Millie's!!! We rent a cottage in the bay every year and Aunt Millie's hands down is our favorite place to eat. Especially breakfast!! They have generous portions, and the best home cooking around! They actually make each omelette to order in a pan (just like you would at home), not on the grill like most restaurants which makes it rubbery & greasy. And they don't have those store bought frozen homefries either, they are all made by hand from scratch! The Millies Delight is my personal favorite, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon and/or sausage!!! I always get a side of their home made thick sliced toast to go along with it!!
Their breakfasts isn't the only thing this place has going for them.. Don't leave without taking home dessert. But I suggest getting it right away bc it might be gone before you leave, the baked goods litterly fly off the shelves on a Sunday morning.
Friday night fish fry's are to die for, especially those homemade corn muffins that comes with your fish fry!! My husband and daughter are huge fans of the chicken finger melt which always looks and tastes good.
Overall I would recommend Aunt Millie's for anyone who want good homemade cooking!!
Though it gets busy there the waitstaff is always trying to please as much to their abilities.
Best Restaurant in the Area!.
When I read the comments below I was astonished. I've had nothing but great experiences with Aunt Millies. This restaurant is one of the best in the area. Its nice to see a non chain restaurant have quality and value. My family and I drive an hour to go there, who would do that if it was such a terrible place? The desserts are freshly made daily, and of course if you go there at the end of the day they are a day old, but you'll see the baker there every morning making fresh if you can get up early enough. Sounds to me these comments below have an alternate motive for writing such rude things, either that or I can't imagine much of anything making them happy.
I mean come on you can't get in the restaurant's door on a Friday night or a Sunday morning. I hardly doubt if it was such a bad place so many people would be lining up outside. And they have some of the best breakfasts ever!! The pancakes are hands down the best, especially since they use that whipped butter to ensure that your pancakes don't come to you w/ a pile of grease on top. I have out of state friends that make us go down there for especially the pancakes every time they are out to visit. And you can't beat the coffee, I think they mix the beans themselves for the right flavor, at least that's what one of the servers told us. And I don't see that many restaurants grounding their own beans! And you can buy the coffee by the 1/2 lb, which I would highly recommend.
So don't let a few bad comments hinder your decision to go there. Its definitely one of a kind. And if you have a sweet tooth it surely will be satisfied with all their jumbo baked goods!!! All homemade, not that generic frozen junk you find at other restaurants. And the price is always right, compared to any chains and/or restuarants in the city, its right for the times.
Alternate Motive????. My comments were neither "rude" nor were they made for some mysterious "motive." My genuine option is that Aunt Millie's has gone down hill. Sorry if you don't agree, but you hardly appear to be a great food critic! Their coffee is swill, their "homemade" desserts are piled high with artificial "whipped cream" and they leave a good deal of their "homemade" baked goods sitting on a shelf behind the cash register with all the lovely flies flying about and dirt/dust blowing in from the street. Perhaps the reason there are people "standing in line" is because this restaurant is in IRVING where the majority of the population is over weight, uneducated and have zero comprehension of REAL FOOD really is.
REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.
I had heard great thigns about Aunt Millie's and so I was anxious to try it. As my meal got off on a bad foot, I thought maybe I was holding the place to a higher standard than normal because of all the things I had heard about it but I soon realized that was not the case. My companion and I ordered a pasta special and a steak. My steak came out very overcooked and the pasta special appeared to have been sitting out for a long time. The pasta was cold and very mushy. Our server was extremely short with us and ill tempered when asked about correcting the problem. I dont know if Todd was having a bad night or what but he definitely took it out on us. He even had the audacity to roll his eyes when I asked if I could have my steak cooked medium rare like I asked (not medium well like it was). This was a very un busy week night and we were one of three tables in the restaraunt at seven o clock. It took us twenty minutes to receive our food the first time and half an hour to receive our food the second time. The manager was also extremely aggressive towards us when she came over to ask what was wrong with our food. We werent trying to get a free meal, we just wanted our food cooked how we asked. Tammy was very short temepered in that situation. It also seemed like Todd was more interested in wiping off counters and sweeping floors than serving us. I suspect our food had been in the window for quite a while. While we were eating he even counted his tips at the counter, totalled all his checks for the night and then stared at us while we finished our meal. I understand that people want to go home at the end of their shift but we had just gotten our food!
All in all it was a very bad dining experience. To be fair, the prices are very reasonable but every other aspect of our experience there was terrible.
STEAK BAD. JUST HAD A STEAK DINNER THERE THAT WAS THE VERY WORSE I HAVE EVER HAD. STEAK WAS SMALL AND FULL OF GRISLLE. BAKED POTATO WAS NOT COOKED AND COLD. THIS WAS A TUESDAY NIGHT AT 6.30PM. IT WAS ADVERTISED AS A 8 OUNCE STRIP STEAK AND IT COULD NOT HAVE WEIGHTED 5 OUNCES. THE SALAD WAS OK. IT WAS 9.99 FOR A VERY POOR MEAL
