Sales-people great. Service & General Management.. NOT SO GOOD..... Purchased a C.P.O. Honda Odyssey in 2007. For the entire year & 1/2 we've had it, the "check engine" light has been on. We've taken it into service (under warranty) SEVERAL TIMES... EACH TIME they have told us that it meant "nothing" & that "no codes" were showing in the computer for it.

After more than a year of coping with the pesky check engine light, & being told that it was (a) a faulty gas cap, (b) driver not putting the gas cap on correctly, (c) not a problem since it wasn't showing up as a viable "code" on the computer so there was nothing to fix, & (d) something I could "drive" away (light would go off after I drove around awhile, which, it did not).. OH.. (e) an unfixable emissions issue since the computer could not identify the problem - the service department MIRACULOUSLY found out what was WRONG with my van -- but only AFTER THE WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED.

GEE! WHAT WERE THE ODDS? My first visit to the svc department post-warranty-expiration, & they NOW KNOW WHAT'S BEEN WRONG WITH THE VAN FOR THE PAST YEAR. Hmmmm.

OH, & it's going to cost $400 to fix -- & -- my van won't pass inspection until the check engine light issue is repaired. Which is funny since DRUM HONDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT performed my LAST INPSECTION WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, & they simply turned the light off, and PASSED MY VEHICLE.

It was also suggested by their SERVICE DEPARTMENT that I just disconnect the light, & be done with it.

Bottom line -- anyone can fix the issue with my van, & for MUCH less. So this is not a mechanical complaint, this is a complaint about the integrity of the dealership, DRUM HONDA, & its management. This is about keeping your customers happy, so that they continue to BE customers, & tell others about their good service, something I won't be doing.

BUYER BEWARE - you are only a valued customer while your warranty is valid, & even then, you must endure grumpy, condescending mechanics who think you have no clue how to put a gas cap on.
