Comfort Inn & Suites890 East Haul Road, Page, AZ | Directions 86040
36.904041 -111.481719Over the past year I've stayed in a number of properties in Page while there on business. The Comfort Inn is the winning lodging choice for me. It is priced fairly, has all the needed commodities, including a decent breakfast, and it's a new property that seems to be well maintained. The manager, Dipak Patel, and his wife both go out of their way to ensure a good stay for all their guests.
I stayed here the night of April 21 after visiting the Grand Canyon, and loved it. The property looks like it is almost brand new. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful at check in. My room, a king, was large, beautiful, and clean. It had a separate sitting area with a full couch and coffee table. The bathroom was bright and clean, with a marble countertop. Amenities included a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. WiFi Internet access was good. Breakfast included coffee, juice, cereals, breads and pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, and you could have a freshly made waffle if you wanted. It's a little south of the main part of Page near the WalMart, so be prepared to drive a mile or two to have dinner at a decent restaurant. Highly recommended!
Spent 4 days, 3 nights at the hotel
while touring the national parks in the area. A unique high school seniors spring break. The hotel is an excellent value: compares to rooms at triple the price and includes a great breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
The only issue (not in control of the hotel) is that highway 89 is closed with adds some time and miles due to the bypass. Supposedly being temporarily fixed soon.
my wife and i just spent 4 days in page with hopes of getting some goods photos while sight seeing around lake powell. as usual, i used trip advisor to choose our hotel and was not disappointed. very clean/new rooms with comfortable beds and a decent free breakfast, in room fridge and microwave all at a reasonable price. who can beat that? small indoor heated pool with a hot tub and an exercise room that looked pretty much unused. be aware that if you are driving in from the south, there is an approximate 45-60 minute detour due to the roadway buckling away on why 89 about 25 miles south of page. also, if you arrive on a sunday like we did, many restaurants are closed? according to a local, sunday remains a day of worship and many close their business on sunday. there are some of the most spectacular natural sights anywhere within 20 minutes of this hotel. dont miss horseshoe bend and the slot canyons. absolutely amazing. this was a great hotel to "launch" from and even a super walmart within walking distance if you forgot something. cant miss here.
We were looking on line for a clean hotel with reasonable rates in Page, AZ. Comfort Inn was perfect. The staff was very helpful as we asked about local sights. Their recommendations met our expectations in the areas of food and hiking. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
All the other reviews describe the
hotel to a tee. The rates this time of year though makes it a real bargain. I saw what the rates are in the summer and "ouch"! Boy I bet it is hot then too. Had not stayed at a Comfort Inn in years and after hearing how new it was I hoped I would be satisfied. It is a franchise locally owned and run by a management team and I am sure they want to keep their standards high.
The lobby is small with one computer for public use and no printer, but ask the staff and they will print anything you can email them. So only plan your trip here Spring or Fall and you will save money and sweat. Oh and the Walmart next door is good for souvenirs.
We stayed in this hotel as a part of
our roa trip from Salt lake city UT to Phoenix AZ. This is brand new hotel with new amneties. Restaurent is small but managed effectively. In morning I have seen one person just looking after the supply and refilling very quickly.
It is very closed to Walmart, this is a very good feature because after spending 5 days on road you would like to refill with supplies and it is not far. Gas station is very close by.
All together it is very good hotel to stay, I reccommend to stay here.
The room was super clean, the bed was
comfortable and had really great sheets and pillows. Since this hotel just opened a couple of months ago, everything is in tip-top shape and brand new. We had a Jacuzzi in our room, and that was wonderful. The room had a king bed and a pull out sleeper sofa. (If sleeping 4 to a room, then I'd get a room without the Jacuzzi, as it would be difficult to walk around.) The bathroom was very clean, and they actually had decent lighting in the room!
The location is right off the highway, so no traffic noise.
Agree that the breakfast area was too small. Don't expect gourmet food. It is basic, but unless you are a food snob, you can eat it, and get through the morning.
Most of all, the staff was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again.
wonderful night, great jacuzzi room, very pleased that there was a refridgerator. the bed and sheets were very comfortable. would return again.
The place is conveniently located next to a gas station, Sonic (fast food restaurant), and across from a Super Walmart. The hotel was recently opened. The only thing I disliked was the lighting, I think there should be a little bit more lighting as the room seemed dim during the day.. The indoor pool and spa was great, especially for my 6 year old who took advantage of the indoor pool, the exercise room was great as well.. The continental breakfast offered eggs, sausage, toast, pastries, juices, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and also included waffles which you could make yourself.. The staff was very welcoming :)
