big city taste, hoity toity price. the first time we ate there, it was a quick slice to check the quality. the owner was there, and the pizza was GREAT. we ordered a few pies soon after, and when Benny was the one who handed them over the counter to us, they were entirely worth the slightly upscale price. unfortunately, when he is *not* there, the pizza deteriorated to less than average- weak, undercooked crust, scanty toppings, and haphazard service. i now go elsewhere or make it myself with the bread machine i soon bought after saving on pizza at Benny's.
