We'll never go back. Sour experience..
We'll never go back. The owners see you as dollar signs and that's it. It could have been nice, but instead it just was just unpleasant and left us a little sour. One example is when the family next to us asked if they had real maple syrup, the answer wasn't a simple sorry that they didn't, it was, "No. If we did, our pancakes would cost $50!"
Also, the coffee was awful. I only took one sip, pushed it aside and had water the rest of the meal. They never showed or spoke one bit of concern that there might have been a problem. A normal human would have asked. We could tell that they were avoiding the subject in fear of having to offer to take it off the bill. (If they had asked and taken it off the bill I would have tipped higher so the would have gotten some of it back anyway and I would have left happier.) If money is the only thing on their mind, I wonder what other cheap shortcuts they use in the kitchen.
I know times are tough, but if you put money, first, customers last, we and others aren't going to bring our money back to you.
