What People Are Saying About Sunset Beach Restaurant

In Short – Striped awnings shade this tri-level hot spot on sleepy Shelter Island. Potent cocktails, breezy outdoor seating, and unbeatable views of the sunset are the draw, but the French-influenced and seafood-rich menu pairs well with the scenery. Hotel guests stop by for midday quiches and omelets, and gussied-up beach bums show up in droves during the evening hours for calamari salad with ginger dressing, buckets of mussels, sauteed scallops, steak frites, and hot fudge sundae for dessert.
