THE BEST OF THE EAST HAMPTON. Let me start by saying I am full Blood Italian, and my parents were born in Italy. I have spent my whole life enjoying the best italian food... so I'd like to think I can make a comment or two about Italian food. This place is amazing! They have incredible meats, and prepared dinners to go! Its so much fun going in there... the staff is friendly and funny and the prices are so reasonable (hard to find esp in the Hamptons) We rent a home in East Hampton every year, and we have made The Villa a must stop for our hungry tummy's- and they always seem to deliver with the best products! Please go in and ask for Francesco. He's the owner and he knows everything about AUTHENTIC Italian food and ANYONE that says otherwise, obviously is confused about what true italian food is.

one star fake italian food. I don't like to write harsh catty reviews so I'll get to the point. Though they had excellent food when I was growing up here ~10 years ago the food now tastes like chef boyardee. Our pasta tasted like it was microwaved after beeing cooked five hours earlier, and had the consistency of mush. The chicken Marsala was covered in an artificial canned sauce and did not contain marsala wine. I threw away the menu after we finished. It was that bad.

I'm Italian, this was not Italian food. It was barely even edible.

Editorial Review. Once East Hampton's best kept secret, the word is out on this out-of-the-way Italian deli, which specializes in heroes, pastas and other mouth-watering treats.
