Westbury >The Cheesecake Factory
Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain..
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.
The Best!!!. This place must be something special, considering that I drive in from Brooklyn for about an hour only to wait just about as much to get a slice of this heaven. To say that the portions are big is not to say anything at all because the portions are huge. Yet, every bite of your meal is delicious. The prices are affordable and you get a lot for your dolor. The service is always welcoming and unbelievably fast. I have been to many top restaurants in the city, yet you cannot compare the portions, the prices, and the service that you get in Cheesecake Factory to any other place. This place is a food chain with top restaurant standards.
Great Food, Great Service....
Totally enjoyed myself, great service, great food, the lines are long though, but it's well worth it and moves at a good pace. You will not be dissapointed. The food portions are huge, so arrive with an empty stomach and please save room for desert.
Avoid the weekends!. The food is good. The cheesecake is good but I have had better and the cheesecake is expensive. The chicken dishes are good. They give you lots of food! You either get the best waiter/waitres or the worse! They have a few with really bad attitudes but thte Managers are very alert and seem to want good service for the customers. The food does come out fast as soon as you order it. After going a few times, you need a break from the crowds and the bathrooms need lots of attention especially when the downstairs area is closed. Not a romantic atmosphere. Sometimes a fast paced cafeteria.
The food'll help you forget everything else.
The food here is terrific. The cheesecake, yes, is fabulous, but quite honestly I usually never have room for it after the innovative dishes.
Everything at the Cheesecake Factory is BIG: big, bold tastes, big menu, big cheesecakes, and, yes, big crowds & a big wait for a table. The food however, is delicious, and the appetizers are also worth springing for; everything on your plate will make you forget the expense of waiting for a table.
To beat the long wait, you can: a) sit at the bar downstairs, which is usually open, b) take out your meal...by sitting at the bar, you can ask for everything to go, which they'll happily oblige, or c) have a slice of cheesecake to kill the 35 minutes of waiting, and at least you'll get the slice for which you would normally be too full at the end of the meal.
Come one, come all. The food is always good, large portions, courteous service, decent prices and very nice surroundings. They also great menu selections. And the cheesecake is fantastic. I recommend the White Chocolate Rasberry Truffle or the Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake, both are great. I recommend this place highly but be prepared to wait, it's usually crowded.
