THE BEST DRESS SHOP ON LONG ISLAND!.
Well I read the last few reviews and I have to say that there must be something wrong with the people who wrote the reviews to have had such negative experiences at Sugarplum. From beginning to end I
was treated with respect and I was able to view and try on in my size, an unbelievable selection. The dresses are not inexspensive, but not starting at $1500.00 either! The staff was extremely knowlegable and helpful. The dresses were definitely more youthful than anything I have seen at all the other shops.
The alterations were fabulous (I neede a lot of work) and they even made sleeves for my strapless dress!
I received so many compliments and again, from beginning to end SUGARPLUM was a better experince than I had even hoped for!! Definitely check them out!…
SUGAR PLAUM REVIEW. THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD!!!!!!!! The only thing they offer is horrible customer service. The sales people not only rude but acted as if they were doing us a favor...The dresses are second rate at best. They put thre own labels on them to try and corner the market lol.. Nice try.. Beware of the seamstress!!! We were told by our sales person" BUYER BEWARE" after the non English speaking seamstress tried to charge us an ubsurb amount of money for alterations..MY ADVICE IS DO NOT BUY A DRESS AT SUGAR PLUM!! IN SUCH A BAD ECONOMY ITS IS THE TIME TO WORK HARDER AND FOCUS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!! BUYER BEWARE OF SUGAR PLUM IN GARDEN CITY IT IS THE WORST!!…

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! hello I am just writing to thank you SUGAR PLUM because I was about to purchase the dress on your website and called the store for help. I was told they could not
give me out the size of the dress that i have tried on the other day in the store and I need to use a size chart. LOL well I'd like to say thank you because I just found the dress on a different website cheaper and I would much rather get it there than off of your website and/or store. I wondering how many people you make to do the same thing!

Great selection of dresses.
Great service with choosing a dress and choosing jewelry.
HOWEVER, disastrous experience with alterations.
This created un-needed angst during the week of my child's wedding. The alteration service was poorly scheduled, rudely executed and the alterations were sub par. I had to go elsewhere for the proper attention and fitting of my dress.
THE SHOP IS GREAT. THE ALTERATIONS SHOULD BE DONE ELSEWHERE.…
