Best hair salon and spa in the world!

I’ve a thinning hair problem. I’ve visited every place for hair extensions in New York, including Long Island, and a place in Queens that advertises very much about hair extensions, but I didn’t trust them, they only seem to care for the money and not for the client’s hair. But finally I found the panacea, and the name of the magic potion is Rodolfo Valentin. After I spent 30 minutes of consultation with him, I didn’t doubt about his great knowledge. I just let him do what he wanted with my hair, and he did the most excellent job I could ever expect, it was really a make over! --- He begun with a base color, then he said that highlights would be added with the hair extensions themselves so I will not need to have more chemicals into my hair…and after his unique five steps deep hair treatment that left my hair feeling very smooth, his famous hair infusion was added, perfectly matching my hair texture while adding different tones of blonde that was mixed together resulted in the best hair color I’ve ever had!- Then, he proceeded with the hairstyle. I always wanted to have layers and Rodolfo told me that it was the right choice because the straight hair is slowly leaving the current straight-hair fashion and the new trend is showing a more glamorous bouncy hair, and the layers will help to show more of the 2010 new look.

I left his beautiful salon with the look I’ve always dreamed about…my hair moves, as it is dancing around my face, soft like a silk, with a hair color reflecting lights of multi-tone shades and a haircut that was the envy of everybody I know. All my friends want an appointment with Rodolfo, and they are so many that I hope he will have time for me next occasion I need him.

Therapeutic background music, fabric shaded walls and a pool of colors was waiting for me at the spa floor. A chic lounge with reclining couches placed around the spa combined with the waterfall to give it a fresh, peaceful feel as you walk through the door. A nice touch is the floor which is covered with heated stones. Upon entering I was met by an spa attendant with a serene smile, who has clearly spent many peaceful hours wafting around this oasis of calm. After showing me to a seat in the reception area she offered me some flavoured water - a toss up between 'de-stress' or 'vitality' (I opted for vitality thinking it will probably incorporate both). After filling out a detailed questionnaire asking a series of probing questions, I was led to a changing room. Prior to my treatment I was given some time alone in the meditation area - a small, candle-lit room with background spa music. Alas, my sojourn here was brief one; after just ten-minutes I was whisked off the treatment room for the best massage of my life. Then in the Salon floor I got a cranial massage from Pia and a hair blow by Maritza. It is without any doubt the BEST SALON AND SPA IN THE ENTIRE LONG ISLAND NY.

• Pros: very close to Queens where I live.
• Cons: every detail is taken care to perfection here!
