Lie to try to trick you & cost me tons!!!. Too bad a 0 stars review was not allowed! National Business Factors (collection agency) Collection Rep Penny Nichols is a lying cheat! I did not realize when I spoke with somebody 4 months ago that it was a collection agency, I thought I was speaking with the hospital claiming the debt. So when I responded with what we had spoke about, I called the hospital & now she is the rudest idiot I have EVER spoken to on the phone! I will see you in court if you have the BALLS!!! In the meantime I will take you down on my credit! They didn't submit for payment & that is NOT my friggin fault! Summon me toots!!! Let's do the stomp your butt waltz!!!!

horrible & arrogant company ever... the dept collector sandy jones.told me that they can't send any bills from my insurance because my dept its already been almost 2 years already..WHAT excuse me?so how do i pay you guys coz everytime i call this horrible company thats the only answer i could get..i don't know how much the bill is and they told me to tell my insurance to billed me???hhahahahaha what the f**K..you guys just need to send your claims with my insurance even tough its almost 2years already because its your d**M jobs..

PAID IN FULL AND THEY STILL REPORTED TO CREDIT!!!. This company is HORRIBLE!!!! They informed me that as long as I was making a monthly payment that they would not report it to the credit agencies. GUESS WHAT???? They did anyway!! And, after it was PAID IN FULL!!! They have ruined my credit!!! I got sent to collections because the original company sent it to them in error. But, since they said that if I made my payments they wouldn't report it........I figured that I might as well pay the bill off with them. What really makes me mad is that it wasn't until I had paid them in full that they reported it to the credit agencies!!!! They do show it paid in full.........but it has still messed up my credit!! When I called to complain they told me that I should have paid my bill in the first place. WOW!!! When I asked for my payment history, they told me to get it from my bank. NOW, I am being told that all payments must be made within 90 days or they report it. If you are contacted by this company, be prepared for nothing but LIES!!!!! Companies like this should be shut down!!!!

Irrational and Arrogant. After receiving a call and saying that "yes my name is Chris" The dept collector assumes that there is only one Chris and that they hold some power over me by threatening me with another man named Chris' credit.

Sorry, wrong Chris and whomever just called me ought to have your mouth washed out with soap.

Go back to school, get an education and learn how to talk to people you arrogant little pricks.

Horrible company, unwilling to work with people.. This is a horrilbe debt collection company!!! I have a doctor bill of $1500 from almost 2 years ago that they have just decided to collect from me. I have been making payment on the debt...but I guess my payments are not enough for them. They called me 2 days ago and told me that if I did not pay them $280 they were going to garnish my wages. I offered to pay them $100 and they denied my payment. They want the $280 or nothing. I told them that I would see them in court. I spoke with Kay Green, who was extremely rude! Their job is to collect a debt, you would think that they would have accepted my payment....some payment is better than no payment. Threatening to garnish wages over a doctor's bill is rediculous. I had no insurance, and no choice but to go to the doctor....now I have an outstanding bill. I'm not an irresponsible persone who runs up debt and doesn't pay it. It's a docor bill....

WORST HUMANS EVER!!!. I am a single mother of two. The hospital took my insurance information wrong leaving me to pay the bill. I can only afford small payments. These people harrass me all the time calling me at hours I specifically ask them not to expalining my ork hours and hour there is only a two hour time to not call me so I can sleep. They ALWAYS call me during those hours. They are rude and verbally abusive. If I get upset at their attitude towards me they threaten me further and hang up. I just got a threatening call that because I can only pay small payments they are going to file a claim to "seize all my assets" I don't even have any assets unless you count my clothes and the few toys I can afford for my children. these people are simply RUDE, ABUSIVE, POWER TRIPPING, LYING jerks. oh and all of this is for an account with less than 1000 left. I already paid off the other 6000. In a year and a half. Sorry my husband died and I can only find two minimum wage jobs.

WORST COLLECTION COMPANY EVER. This company has some serious issues. I called to find out why i'm receiving collection for 42.00...explaining to them that this was incorrect. I admit I was a little upset on the phone. However, the person who took my call stated to me that she was going to hang up on me if I didn't correct my attitude. I then spoke to her supervisor "KAY", who was rude and arrogant. As a manager KAY lacks the ability to handle her job and has poor customer relations. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said, "NO." My operation manager is too important and doesn't take these calls. This is the worst agency and I would rather have this go against my credit then pay this place a dime....fortunately for me this situation will be resolved. However, I emplore that no one use this agency as it lacks professionalism and how to handle customers who, under stressful circumstances, would be upset.

Good Customer Service. I have to say that I have done business with Leisl at the NBFGroup in Carson and I have had nothing but terrific customer searvice. Please do call them direct if you have any questions or concerns regarding needing a collections agency.

Response to review done on 7/11/2007. I discovered this review when I was doing some research work for our company. As the Vice-President of Customer Relations, I wish this person would of called and spoke with someone on our management team. NBF takes great pride in our customer service, even when dealing with the tough task of collections.
