Incredible flowers and service!! 10 stars!!. I was a little nervous giving a florist $1000 for flowers, but I have to say when they arrived on my wedding day...they were spectacular! We worked with Rebecca and she spent so much time on us I felt bad, I'm sure she had other things to do, but she was always patient and fun to be with. The flowers were fresh, and some of the most beautiful I've ever seen, they were even prettier than the ones in the book I looked at. Everyone at the wedding commented on the flowers. I will be going to Sierra Rose Floral in the future and so will my family. My 2 sisters are getting married soon and they will get flowers from Sierra Rose too. Thanks Rebecca...you are awesome!
VERY dissapointed Bride. Lets start with my bridal bouquet. My filler flowers were supposed to be pink and white, and instead, I got pink and yellow. My wedding colors were pink and orange...NOT yellow. When we called to let them know the colors were wrong, we were told the yellow flowers were orange. I'm not sure how they thought they could pass off yellow as orange, and think they could convince us of such. Beyond that, the filler flowers were NOT to be orange, so why they even tried to pass off yellow as orange is beyond me. They were wrong in the beginning because the flowers were to be pink and WHITE. To add fuel to that fire, my bouquet started falling apart immediately after the ceremony during pictures. I was literally dropping flowers left and right, and my photographer even made the comment that she had never seen a bouquet fall apart the way mine did. Also, most of the flowers on the boutonnieres were closed, and when my mom called to let them know, they said they would open up when they got warm. The ceremony was in an hour, and my mom asked if that was enough time, and their response was, "I don't know, I'm not mother nature." They were completely aware of the time of my wedding, and they should have factored that in when creating the boutonnieres (not to mention, cut the attitude and snide remarks when talking to a customer). If I need to keep going, my throwing bouquet was an absolute joke. The flowers honestly looked dead, and I would have been better off buying a $15 bunch of flowers from the grocery store. I was extremely dissapointed by the quality of my purchase, but I was even more dissapointed by the attitude we recieved when we called to see if there was anything that could be done. They were extremely rude, and did not even try to compensate for their mistakes. I originally chose Sierra Rose Florist, for I saw them at a wedding fair, and found out they were a family run business. I tried to use all local/family vendors for all of my wedding needs in order to support the Carson City economy, but I completely regret this decision for my wedding flowers.
Best floral store in area.
They always have an incredible selection and ALWAYS do a great job with my business clients arrangements. They make me look good consistanly. I have to answer to "Nasty" below: you are extremely rude for being such a hateful woman who has nothing on her mind but negativity towards others. I would imagine you are not welcome back if you are that "nasty' (you own words) I'm quite sure you were the one in front of me at the grocery store that was being hateful to a clerk too. You need to go away and leave the rest of us alone that live in the real world. I'm glad I wasn't there at Sierra Rose when you were there, I would have requested they charge you triple.
This store has never been anything less than emmaculatly clean, although there were cobwebs.....at Halloween, yes, I did see them too!
Nasty. Went in to buy flowers for my daughter's recital. No selection. . No filler options - how does a florist not have baby's breath or lemon leaf? The store itself was filthy - dust and cobwebs on stuff. Candy and cookies were old/dried out/ broken. The lady working there was very rude and charged me double what I have paid elsewhere. First time . . Will NEVER go back.
Worst Business. The worst experience. The flowers were not done on time. The flowers were substituted but with all the wrong colors for my wedding. They told me it was my fault for not communicating with them. I called and confirmed my pick up date and time twice. They never told me the flowers that I wanted were an issue they told me I should have come in to find out that the flower order I made was changing…. I thought it was the professionals job? Silly me thinking if they changed my order they would tell me….
